His new wife has shared exclusive thoughts about her hubby's complicated personality with Screen Rant. After viewing the aired episodes, Olivia revealed that she was shocked to see Brett's playboy behavior. Even though she was in disbelief, sweet Olivia still believes there is more to her husband... and that he's misunderstood.
Only four episodes into Married at First Sight season 11, viewers have seen two sides of serial dater, Brett. Before meeting his wife, he gave an overwhelming glimpse into his flirtatious side, by giving attention to a waitress, Henry's good friend Kristin and Bennett's sister. He got flirty with them the day before his wedding. Now married, 35-year-old Brett has shown a more affectionate side as he gets to know his new wife. While fans believe Brett isn't a good fit for Olivia or the show, his wife has a different perspective.
Initially, it that appeared Brett and Olivia only had one passion in common, which is their love of cats. Over the past couple of episodes, it's becoming a little bit more clear exactly why they were paired up. Olivia was recently made aware of Brett's actions before they met. Although she has admitted it was "shocking" to see her husband's behavior, she had more to say on the matter. In an exclusive statement to Screen Rant, Olivia elaborated about Brett's flirting and how it contrasted with the person she got to know: "Brett's flirting was definitely shocking to see. He would discuss his dating habits pretty openly but he did not outwardly flirt with women in front of me. I think Brett has many layers and I think those can come off very confusing for viewers."
The nurse practitioners’ sentiments extended to Brett’s family too, who many believed were just as rude as he was. “They (Brett’s family) were very personable and meshed well with my family and friends”, responded Olivia in regard to her first impression of her husband’s family". She continued: “I felt like we all would get along great. His brothers are jokesters but I enjoyed it. His sister is a sweetheart also.”
Olivia has such a different mindset from the majority of fans when it comes to her hubby and his family. Her point of view could be the reason MAFS experts believe they would be a good match.
