To help fans get through this quarantine the producers of Married at First Sight have created a new spin-off, Married at First Sight Couples' Cam. The self-shot series features the nine married couples from the parent series during self-isolation. Viewers get an up, close and personal update on how the couples are handling social distancing.
Over the course of ten seasons the experts have matched couples and had them met at the alter. Although the majority of the couples have divorced, nine couples are still married and trying to manage self-isolation together.
Just like the rest of us, the Married at First Sight couples are cooped up in their houses, attempting to keep themselves from getting cabin fever. Here's how the Married at First Sight couples are staying entertained during the quarantine so far:
Doug & Jamie
On the pilot episode of Couples' Cam the veteran Married at First Sight couple from season one is shown discussing the difficult topic of whether to have the delivery of their second child at home or at the hospital. Based on their recent Instagram posts the happy couple welcomed baby Hendrix at their home. See the pics of the newborn below:
Anthony & Ashley
The season five - Chicago couple has been keeping busy with their daughter Mila and a massive puzzle, or searching for the pieces when their little one hides them. Either way Mila is definitely keeping them on their toes during self-isolation, see her adorable pics below:
Jephte & Shawniece
While Jephte is continuing his teacher responsibilities via online at the moment Shawniece is now a stay at home wife, taking care of their two-year-old daughter Laura. The cosmetologist shares she's "losing her mind" with the repetition of "cleaning, cooking, chasing after Laura." Helping her keep her sanity is a popular household favorite - wine.
Jephte attempted to help change up the pace of things, buying a hoop and putting it together so they could have something to play outside during self-isolation, see the adorable video below.
Bobby & Danielle
After having their daughter, Olivia, Danielle made the decision to be a stay at home mom. The new change for the Texas couple is Bobby working from home and not traveling for work. Danielle has also been keeping busy with promoting her partnership with Jersey Mike's and adorable pics of baby Olivia.
Keith & Kristine
Keith has been busy with work, delivering medical supplies to the frontline workers. His work hours have increased while Kristine's has decreased. The real estate agent hasn't been able to show homes but it has allowed her time to focus on the renovations on their home. Here they are posing for a pic, looking happy in the midst of the pandemic.
AJ & Stephanie
The world travelers have had a switch in the work dynamics in their relationship. The pandemic has resulted in AJ being unemployed and Stephanie becoming the breadwinner. AJ lightheartedly shares he copes with the lack of conversation stimulation by listening to when his wife ends a phone meeting and runs in for a short conversation.
Despite the circumstances the season eight couple is doing well and even had a birthday celebration for AJ while in quarantine.
Deonna & Greg
In addition to keeping busy with their respective careers, they have started a T-shirt business together. But that doesn't seem to be enough as Deonna has shared she has baby fever! Greg, on the other hand, is doing his best to distract her from the idea. On the pilot episode he allowed the operations manager to draw a fake beard on him and not too long ago they dressed up for a quarantine selfie, see photo below:
Elizabeth & Jamie
Elizabeth and Jamie moved to California seven months ago so Jamie could advance his career in Technology. The couple is now living in a one-bedroom apartment and Elizabeth is struggling to adjust with the small space. Jamie has other complaints, like not being able to talk about sports. Austin & Jessica
Jessica's nursing job has been keeping her busy. In the meantime her hubby is spending his time with puzzles and "waiting, waiting" for his wife to get home, check out his post below:
