Warning! Spoilers for the Wednesday, January 20 episode of Married At First Sight below!

Married at First Sight season 12 star Clara met and married her new husband Ryan on episode 2 of the hit Lifetime matchmaking series. However, her behavior on her big day caused some fans to call Clara a bridezilla.

27-year-old Clara, an adventurous flight attendant, chose to get married to a complete stranger because she was sick of being "the fifteenth wheel" amongst her coupled-up friends. The Married at First Sight experts paired her with Ryan, a hard-working software project manager who is passionate about fitness. The experts hope that Clara's fun-loving, exuberant personality will help bring out Ryan's own gregarious streak. They also felt confident about this interracial pairing because both Clara and Ryan have dated outside of their race before.

But despite feeling ready to tie the knot on Married At First Sight, Clara felt a lot of frustration over small details on her wedding day. She told her bridesmaids that she hated her hair and makeup because she felt "overdone" and didn't feel like herself. Her groom-to-be Ryan had a unique plan to make their ceremony even more special by wearing eye masks until they had both arrived at the altar so they could remove them together. Clara seemed less-than-thrilled about the eye masks. "This is weird," she told Ryan as they held hands before removing the masks. During the reception, Clara told Ryan about how she altered her plan to wear sneakers with her wedding dress when she realized that her dress had been hemmed too much. She then ordered her bridesmaids to retrieve her shoes. Ryan seemed exasperated with his new wife's behavior and didn't participate in the conversation.

One user shared their theory on Reddit about what went wrong with Clara's wedding makeup with other Married at First Sight fans"I’m convinced her wedding makeup artist purposely did not give her the requested look. Her black makeup artist had to suffer on camera as Clara’s cringey description about her racially ambiguous “type” was described (seems like the 10th time to viewers) to her room full of white friends. READ THE ROOM CLARA." They also discussed how Clara and her bridesmaids did not wear masks around the makeup artist, who was outfitted in a mask and face shield.

Despite Clara's concerning behavior on their wedding day, she and Ryan seem hopeful about their future as husband and wife. However, Clara expressed to Ryan that her greatest fear surrounding the marriage is that she will fall in love with him and he won't reciprocate. Ryan is emotionally reserved and has never told a partner "I love you" before. Clara and Ryan will experience newlywed life together on this season of Married at First Sight before deciding at the end of the experiment whether they will stay married or get a divorce.
