In both heated arguments and comments, Chris Williams unnecessarily criticized his ex Paige, despite her patience throughout season 12 of Married at First Sight. With allegations about other women and Chris even claiming to have slept with Paige, even with his lack of attraction to her, season 12 was not kind to dedicated Paige and her arrogant, explosive ex Chris. Fans are certain to have expected more fallout after Chris blew up during the final episodes of the season.

From the very start, Chris and Paige suffered from a lack of communication and Chris’ inability to commit to the process. While Paige stood beside her former husband, despite the rest of the cast pleading with her to think of herself and leave, Chris has yet to let Paige off the hook for questioning his intentions and decisions during the filming process. Paige gained support from Chris’ friends and family, alongside her own, as she struggled to make sense of his emotional torment throughout this season of MAFS.

Through his Instagram account, Chris posted a number of cruel attacks toward Paige regarding their season of MAFS and his possible indiscretion with an ex, long after Chris and Paige divorced. After a genuine discussion over the legitimacy of Chris’ ex’s pregnancy and the scandal surrounding it on a recent episode of Married at First Sight, Chris wrote: “Paige you’re clearly are a liar!” Chris continued with the fact that she should “find something to do so you can move on with your life.” While Paige graciously expressed her truth from the season, Chris continues to act defensively about his past relationship and this proposed “miscarriage.”

Paige suffered from problematic behavior of her own, and Chris continues to escalate, despite the end of the season and Chris’ divorce from Paige. Not only did he use his platform to defile Paige’s reputation and character but also to degrade the rest of the cast, exposing gossip about each of the fellow couples in his Instagram stories. Vicious, hateful, and mean, Chris takes the lowest road imaginable to clear his own name, exposing his need to use cruel language and accusations in the face of difficulty.

Fans who have followed the season closely know the lengths Chris has gone in the past to defend himself, yet this post even surpasses his most violent, aggressive retorts on season 12. Rather than letting the season and his own experiences speak for themselves, Chris chose to embarrass himself even further with his childish remarks, weakening his own case with viewers nationwide. Chris posted his own MAFS advice, begging them to avoid social media, yet he himself can’t seem to stay away from online harassment. Chris’ actions are a testament to the dangers of social media arguments and the bitter taste of abusive comments, whether founded or unfounded.
