Married At First Sight Australia has been entertaining and shocking audiences for eight seasons and has featured many controversies across its run. While marrying a stranger is unsurprisingly unsuccessful for most, the show does have a few success stories, like with Jules and Cam in season 6.

With tense dinner parties and emotional commitment ceremonies aplenty, it's not surprising that Married At First Sight Australia is so full of drama. Most couples called it quits while still on the show, but a select few did give their relationship a go in the real world.

Sarah & Telv (Season 5)

A Couple Being Interviewed On Married At First Sight

For any new fans who go back and rewatch the old seasons of Married At First Sight Australia, Sarah and Telv feel like this season's answer to Cam and Jules. Throughout most of the experiment, they got along well and despite some ups and downs, the couple remained together by its end.

Unfortunately, though, things have since soured between the pair, according to Radio Times, with both taking out a court order which prevents them from speaking publicly about each other. Sarah is now a brand ambassador and utilizes her social media accounts in order to promote successful and up-and-coming brands. Since their season ended, Telv has been posting a lot on his Instagram with his children and focusing on family life.

Patrick & Charlene (Season 5)

Despite many ups and downs and some hilarious interference from his mother, Patrick and Charlene also decided to stay together at the end of their season. Charlene often stated she found Patrick too immature and emotional, and his mother certainly wasn't her biggest fan, so it's not all that surprising that they haven't lasted on the outside.

Charlene is now engaged and has shown off her engagement ring on Instagram. She also took part in the multi-season reunion back at the start of the year. Patrick seems to have focused most of his time on catching up with his family since the show ended. It's great to see that the two are still happy, despite being one of the many Married At First Sight couples who broke up after filming.

Ashley & Troy (Season 5)

Ashley and Troy's Wedding Day from Married At First Sight

Ashley and Troy were certainly never a match made in heaven and the couple spent most of their time on the show arguing. Despite this, Troy confessed his love to Ashley several times, but it wasn’t to be.

Ashley and Troy memorably did a bit of a wife swap after their season ended with other couple, Justin and Carly, (but neither of these couples are still together). The former couple does seem to still be on good terms despite their unfortunate ending on the show and were able to laugh about their time on the show in the multi-season reunion. More recently, Troy has been sharing his weight loss/fitness journey over on his Instagram account.

Jules & Cam (Season 6)

Jules and Cam are the ultimate Married At First Sight power couple and their journey on the show was pretty smooth sailing from the start. At the end of their season, Cam emotionally proposed to Jules and they remain together to this day.

The couple has since tied the knot for real and even have a child together, who they often feature on their social media accounts. Jules now has her own clothing brand named "Figure" and Cam is a mental health advocate. The couple also has a podcast for any fans who are wanting to keep up with them.

Martha & Michael (Season 6)

Martha and Michael from Married At First Sight

Martha certainly became embroiled in a lot of drama during her stint on the show, but her relationship with Michael managed to stand the many tests of the experiment. The couple has remained together ever since and recently got engaged (which Martha revealed on Instagram), and their story is just another reason why Married At First Sight is one of the best reality dating shows.

Since the show, Michael has had a change of career. At that time, he was a teacher, but he’s now a personal trainer and influencer. Martha is also now a full-time influencer and utilizes her Instagram to promote brands. Despite being involved in a lot of the season’s drama, this couple has certainly proved their detractors wrong.

Cyrell & Nic (Season 6)

While it was pretty obvious from the beginning that this couple wasn't to be, they were still one of the best to watch on their season. Cyrell is one of the best ever Married at First Sight contestants and her feud with Martha was particularly entertaining to watch (fans of the show will never forget wine-gate).

Although they were one of the most explosive couples, they were certainly fun to watch.

Seb & Lizzie (Season 7)

Lizzie and Seb's Wedding Day from Married At First Sight

Lizzie originally appeared on the sixth season of the show, but things didn’t exactly go smoothly for her when her partner, Sam, had an affair with one of the other wives. Lizzie returned in the following season for another go and was paired with a new partner, Seb, which proved far more successful.

The couple made it through their season and pledged their commitment to each other by its end. They did remain together for about a year, which is longer than some of the other couples from the show, before finally calling quits on their relationship. According to WhoSeb has since found love again with a new partner.

Kerry & Johnny (Season 8)

Married At First Sight Australia's Kerry and Johnny smile

Kerry and Johnny were late entrants into the most recent season of Married at First Sight Australia, but they were certainly one of the most successful couples. They are also perhaps one of the most real reality TV couples. The two were smitten pretty much from the off and had a pretty smooth ride as a couple, often being the envy of their fellow contestants.

The loved-up pair have since moved in together and have gone from strength to strength which they mentioned on the reunion show. Refreshingly, the two have continued their previous careers too; Johnny is still a theatre actor and Kerry is still an occupational therapist. The couple also spoke openly about their hopes to have children together in the future while on the show, which means they could be following in Cam and Jules’ footsteps.

Patrick & Belinda (Season 8)

Pat and Belinda's Wedding Day from Married At First Sight

Despite a slightly awkward start to their journey, Patrick and Belinda did manage to stick together throughout their stint on the show. At the final commitment ceremony, the couple pledged their loyalty to each other but they have since gone their separate ways.

According to Heartthe pair didn’t want the same things in love and life, which isn’t all that shocking considering her reluctance about the relationship, especially in the early weeks of the show. Patrick continues to work as a personal trainer and now hosts a podcast called "Thanks For Sharing," which has featured several of his co-stars from the show. From the looks of her Instagram, Belinda is still very much focused on fashion and dancing.

Bryce & Melissa (Season 8)

Mel and Bryce's Wedding Day from Married At First Sight

Bryce and Melissa are certainly one of the most controversial couples to ever feature on the show, but it can’t be denied that they brought a lot of entertainment to their season. Bryce, in particular, clashed with almost every other contestant during his time on the show and was plagued by rumors of a secret girlfriend outside the show.

Although most viewers thought they'd become one of the shortest Married At First Sight marriages, they (remarkably) stuck it out and are still together now. According to The Daily MailMelissa and Bryce have since moved in together, are engaged and are also parents to twin babies. It doesn’t seem like Bryce has fully left the drama behind, though, as he was recently involved in a public fight with his arch-nemesis from the show, Sam (Daily Mail). So, while the couple has stuck together and defied all the odds, things haven’t changed all that much concerning their relationships with the other cast members from the show.
