Summary

  • Dr. Jessica Griffin left Married at First Sight but is still a practicing psychologist, giving relationship advice and co-authoring a psychology textbook.
  • Dr. Jessica and Jon are happily married and have started working together, offering webinars on their website about building healthy relationships.
  • They spend quality time with their family and appear happy together, despite the unconventional way they met on the show.

On Married at First Sight, Dr. Jessica Griffin was one of the matchmaking experts during seasons 6, 7, and 8, and she has been keeping busy since leaving the show. There was speculation that her relationship with season 6's Jon Francetic led to her getting replaced by Dr. Viviana Coles in season 9. There is plenty to learn about what Dr. Jessica has been up to since leaving one of the best reality TV shows in 2019. While she's no longer on the show, MAFS season 18 will premiere in 2024.

MAFS follows a new cast of singles looking to get married to strangers, and the unconventional process has shown mixed results. During Dr. Jessica's MAFS stint, she helped match (and gave relationship advice to) many couples. One of her success stories is Jephte Pierre and Shawniece Jackson from season 6, as they are still together and have a daughter. However, some season 6 couples didn't have happy endings, as Jephte and Shawniece are the only pair still an item. Jaclyn Schwartzberg and Ryan Buckley split after less than a year of marriage, and Molly Duff and Jonathan had one of the most troubled relationships in MAFS history.

MAFS' Dr. Jessica & Jon are Happily Married

The biggest plot twist from MAFS came after the popular cast member Jon started dating relationship expert Dr. Jessica. While Molly was known for bullying Jon on Married at First Sight, he and Dr. Jessica appear to have a loving relationship. The pair got engaged in 2019 during a hike at the Grand Canyon. Jessica and Jon were married in a beautiful ceremony in late 2022.

Jessica and Jon Spend Quality Time With Their Family

While Dr. Jessica left Married at First Sight behind, she is still a practicing psychologist, and the expert has given countless couples relationship advice since exiting the series. She co-authored a psychology textbook about childhood in 2021. The TV personality also had several news segments about coping with stress (and other mental health issues) during the pandemic. Dr. Jessica and Jon have started working together. They created their website, which features webinars about building healthy relationships.

Dr. Jessica has continued to stay in touch with Married at First Sight fans through her Instagram and Cameo. She has also spent a lot of quality time with her family. Jon, Married at First Sight season 8's Dr. Jessica and her three kids seem to spend much family time together and look happy as they navigate their newly married life. It's great that the Married at First Sight duo is still together.
