Nick Pendergrast had a memorable run on Married At First Sight season 4, but he has lived an even more interesting life in his time after starring on the hit reality series. Although Nick didn't stay with his Married At First Sight match, he has enjoyed a bountiful love life after season 4 of the dating show. From his current relationship status to surviving a nearly fatal accident, here's everything to know about Nick's life after Married At First Sight.

In 2016, Nick appeared on MAFS season 4, which focused on newlyweds located in Miami, Florida. At the time of filming, Nick was a 32-year-old vacation rental manager. The Married At First Sight relationship experts paired Nick with Sonia Granados, a 33-year-old social worker. On the show, Nick and Sonia were an unusual couple. Although the husband and wife didn't have immediate chemistry, they got along fairly well. However, the couple routinely got into disagreements that highlighted their incompatibility, like Sonia's disdain for dogs and Nick's lack of attraction to his new wife.

Nick and Sonia proved to be an especially tricky couple when they revealed that they had lied to relationship expert Pastor Cal about not having sex. They had, in fact, been intimate. The two got into heated arguments regularly. Sonia even moved out of their home.

Nick And Sonia Stayed Together On Decision Day

Despite all of the reasons why Nick and Sonia should have called it quits on Decision Day, the pair opted to stay married at the end of Married At First Sight season 4. The newlyweds believed that they had overcome their issues on the series and thought their marriage was on an upward trajectory. Unfortunately, Nick and Sonia swiftly learned that their drama on Married At First Sight was only the beginning of their marital woes.

After roughly 1 year of marriage, Nick and Sonia joined the long list of alumni that got divorced after Married At First Sight. While this might not have surprised fans who witnessed the pair's explosive relationship dynamic on television, all audiences were shocked to learn that Nick was already in a new relationship. In July of the same year that he got divorced, Nick announced that he and his new girlfriend Heather Yerrid were expecting twins. See a recent pic of Nick above.

In December 2017, Heather gave birth to twins (daughter Layla and son Logan). More unexpected events were in store for Nick's followers, as he shared that he had been in a bad accident at work. In a 2019 Instagram post, Nick explained that he was in an "unfortunate severe accident while on the job."  The former Married At First Sight cast member said that he was suffering from "severe hypothermia, multiple pelvic fractures, severely comminuted sacral fractures, Morel-Lavallee, and more." Although Nick was able to make a miraculous recovery, he shared that the accident had left him partially paralyzed.

Nick shared more updates on his life after Married At First Sight season 4 on his Instagram. On the social media site, Nick states that he is an entrepreneur and an "AirBnB Superhost." Nick also shares pictures of his growing children, as well as his recovery from his life-threatening accident. Nick's journey didn't turn out as Married At First Sight fans might have expected it to. While Nick and Sonia's divorce after Married At First Sight was par for the course, Nick's entrance into fatherhood, and his severe accident, couldn't have been predicted by any relationship expert. Although Nick isn't living out the life he or his fans expected following Married At First Sight, he has certainly continued to be an unforgettable alum.
