Samantha Role had a rocky experience on Married At First Sight season 3, but the alum has reclaimed her love life since her time on reality television. Samantha's journey on the experimental dating series ended in heartache. However, she ended up getting everything she wanted after her Married At First Sight divorce. With a child, husband, and a "was-band," Samantha has lived a fulfilling life since her marriage came to an end in season 3.
Samantha was introduced to Married At First Sight fans on the season 3 premiere in December 2015. This season of the popular reality dating show took place in Atlanta, Georgia. On her wedding day, Samantha was a 30-year-old bank manager. The relationship experts matched Samantha with Neil Bowlus, who was 31 years old. At the time, he was working as a compliance specialist. Although the newlyweds appeared to have a lot in common, they never got on the same page throughout the course of their marriage. Samantha was critical of Neil from the jump and wasn't entertained by his quirky sense of humor. Eventually, Samantha understood her husband better and admitted to having a crush on him. By Decision Day on Married At First Sight season 3, Samantha was dedicated to continuing her marriage with Neil. Unfortunately for Samantha, Neil wanted a divorce.
After getting rejected by Neil at the end of her Married At First Sight experience, Samantha had an altogether different perspective on marriage and relationships. Samantha returned for Where Are They Now? in April 2020, where she showed gratitude for her harsh journey on the dating show. Samantha shared that she regrets the way she treated Neil during the beginning of their marriage and was "disgusted" by her actions. Samantha clarified, "I'm not that person anymore." Looking back, Samantha is sure that the relationship experts had paired her with the right husband. Although Samantha was devastated to lose a good match, she revealed that her divorce on Married At First Sight helped her with her relationships since the show. Samantha revealed that losing Neil made her "realize why my previous relationships were a failure." She was able to "learn from that."
Since Neil ended their marriage on Decision Day, Samantha has found a new husband. Samantha spoke with People about her marriage to Chris Wise, whom she married on April 20, 2018. Samantha revealed that she decided to keep her marriage to Chris under wraps because “My first marriage was so public — we wanted to keep this one private and sacred for as long as possible." On top of getting married, Samantha and Chris have a daughter. Samantha gave birth to Isabella in September 2018, which means the alum's child is approaching her third birthday. Samantha's journey on Married At First Sight season 3 was full of mistakes and unreciprocated feelings, but the alum has learned from her disappointing experience since leaving the show. Samantha has become a new person since getting divorced and is now a happy wife and mother. Fortunately, Samantha has demonstrated growth since her time on Married At First Sight.
