Olivia Cornu didn’t get the ending that she wanted on Married At First Sight, but the fans are still very curious to learn more about her career and net worth outside of the show. Olivia went onto Married At First Sight with the hope of finding a person that she would love, travel with, and grow old with. However, life had other plans for her. At every point, Olivia and Brett fought over anything and everything. A recurring issue that came up time and time again was money, or rather Brett’s resistance to spend any. Finances are typically a big reason for a couple to get a divorce, so it wasn’t surprising when these two didn’t work out. Alas, despite Olivia’s marriage breaking down in front of millions of people, she still has her amazing job and is possibly dating a fellow castmate.

Brett and Olivia’s marriage wasn’t terrible at the beginning of Married At First Sight. No viewer could have expected that their connection would turn sour so quickly. At the wedding, both parties seemed to be attracted to each other, which is a great starting point. Unfortunately, Olivia and Brett couldn’t see eye to eye when it came to spending money. There was also the fact that Olivia made more money than Brett, which may have rubbed him the wrong way even though he initially said that it was a “turn-on” for him. In the end, divorce was the right choice considering that Brett left her in the middle of the lockdown without even telling her.

With the Married At First Sight success rate being so low, it was not surprising when the fans found out that Olivia and Brett had split. Following the show, however, Olivia has been kept busy with her job as a nurse practitioner. The average salary of a nurse practitioner in New Orleans is estimated at $110,000. That’s a pretty nice chunk of change. No wonder Olivia wanted to travel so much, as she could afford to, whereas Brett saw it as spending her money frivolously. Stars Offline reported her net worth to be around $300,000.

But with the COVID-19 pandemic continuing with no end in sight, those travel plans will have to take a back burner for the meanwhile. Maybe when it’s all over Olivia will have a new travel buddy in Henry Rodriguez, whom she was rumored to be seeing. There have been no confirmations or denials, but it wouldn’t be a bad match. In fact, many fans feel that they should have been matched to begin with as Henry’s marriage to Christina broke down much like Olivia and Brett's marriage.

It seems that Olivia has been enjoying life, as she’s been spending time with friends and her dog. She recently took some time off work to go to Los Angeles and even met up with Selling Sunset cast members Jason and Brett Oppenheim. Is there a crossover in the air? For now, the Married At First Sight fans just have to stay tuned for more updates.
