Nate started his experience as a TV personality on the premiere of Married At First Sight season 5, which aired in April 2017. Nate was one of the six husbands and wives living in Chicago selected to get married to a complete stranger on MAFS. At the time, Nate was a branch manager of a car rental company, and he was one of the season's youngest cast members at just 26 years old. On the show, Nate was paired with Sheila Downs, a 30-year-old school district facility director. Even though Nate and Sheila had chemistry from the jump, they also faced conflict in their marriage immediately after saying "I do." One major issue that cast a shadow over Nate's marriage was his family's disapproval. Like many fans, Nate's parents doubted the Married At First Sight process for pairing two people up. Beyond Nate's family drama, Sheila also had a hard time trusting him.
Although Nate's marriage wasn't perfect, he and Sheila decided to stay together on Decision Day. However, their marriage didn't last. Sheila's fears of being betrayed by Nate allegedly came true when the Married At First Sight alum tweeted, "Just got a call from the woman who's been sleeping with my husband... Even though Nate and Nastassja confirmed their relationship in 2018, she's been absent from Nate's social media in 2021.
As of 2021, Nate has had a lot of success in his professional career. According to Nate's Instagram, where he currently has 38,100 followers, he's been busy working as the CEO of a company that sells ready-to-drink cocktails. This new company is set for launch in the fall of 2021. Otherwise, Nate's Instagram is full of extravagant trips. Recently, Nate even took a vacation to celebrate his 30th birthday.
