The season 11 premiere of Married at First Sight is only a few days away. After the reveal of several sneak peeks and two up, close and personal specials about the New Orleans cast, speculation around these newlyweds are at an all-time high. At the center of the controversy is playboy Brett and his flirtatious behavior.
Brett, 35, made quite the impression during the MAFS Matchmaking Special with his admittance to having dated 45 women. He continued to outdo himself by consistently gloating about the things he's good at, his partner preferences, and his appearance. "I'm really attractive so I'm confident that it will be fine," responded the certified AWS Cloud Practitioner when asked about possible troubles with intimacy during the Married at First Sight process. Unfortunately, for his soon to be wife, his actions appear to be a sure sign of trouble for their marriage.
The MAFS Matchmaking special provided fans a quick intro to Brett and his glaring confidence. Evidence of his questionable attitude continued to arise during additional clips from the MAFS 11 Kick-Off Special. As host Kevin Frazier dived into more about Brett and his fianceé Olivia the consecutive clips of the couple became harder to watch, causing a consistent flow of "Aww" to "Eww" responses. Sweet, cat-loving Olivia enjoys performing Lil' Wayne songs at karaoke and is a New Orleans Saints football fanatic. After watching clips of the 30-year-old share her desires for her ideal partner, Brett brags about dating a bodybuilder and later admits how he had to cancel dates to make time for his wedding.
His actions only seem to get progressively worse. In a clip from the men's bachelor party, Brett forcibly sits awkwardly, close to castmate Henry's friend Kristen. Despite her clear dismissal of his forward attempts at a conversation, he continues to stay, eventually causing Kristen to get up and leave. Even more baffling, Brett is shown leaving his bachelor party early, getting picked up by a mysterious person in a white truck.
All of the said events have occurred before the wedding and the popular assumption is it will lead to a nightmare for Olivia. The more Olivia revealed about her self, followed by Brett's....everything arose the question of "okay, why is he here"? The only commonalities they present are loving cats and maybe fitness. If this is the introduction to Brett, the full-blown picture may be terrifying. Although the evidence shows a recipe for doom there is still hope he will change. If not, season 10's Zach has been leveled up to Brett.
