Jephte and Shawniece got married without ever meeting in Married At First Sight season 6. Jephte is an elementary school teacher and the matchmakers paired him with cosmetologist Shawniece.
Jephte and Shawniece were known for arguing a lot on their season, but ultimately working through their issues together and choosing to remain married. In 2018, the pair welcomed daughter Laura Denise Pierre and have been posting adorable family pictures ever since.
Wagon Adventures
Jephte is willing to do anything for his little girl, including pulling her around a parking lot in a wagon for as long as she wants. He hilariously called her "the princess of Zamunda" in reference to the Eddie Murphy movie Coming to America. One fan asked if Jephte was ready for another child in the comments. As one of 14 children, Jephte always wanted a big family like he had, while Shawniece wanted to wait for more kids. In a sweet post celebrating all of the fathers and grandfathers out there for Father's Day, Jephte shared the cutest picture of him and Laura. He said how fortunate he felt to be a dad and the two were all smiles as he lifted Laura in the air. In the second picture, Jephte gave her an adorable kiss on the nose.
