Many of the Married at First Sight 11 cast are skeptical about Brett's intentions, but Christina is the first to bring these concerns to his bride Olivia's attention.

By the first episode of the season, Brett had earned himself a bad boy reputation with fans by boasting about his dating and sexual conquests in bad taste. That transgression compounded with his aggressive flirting towards fellow groom Henry's friend at the men's group bachelor party has the audience, and his fellow cast members, questioning his intentions for joining the show. Henry has had his eyes on Brett since their initial meeting, insisting that he doesn't want the kind-hearted Olivia to get hurt if Brett turns out to be on the show for fraudulent reasons.

During a couples brunch on the honeymoon, Brett's refusal to rate his marriage in front of the guys also rubbed some of the grooms the wrong way. Instead of politely declining to participate in the poll, Brett continued to berate the men for "dehumanizing" their relationships, calling the rating question "stupid." It doesn't take a body language expert to tell that Woody and Miles, who brought up the game, felt slighted and put off by Brett's comments. Olivia, on the other hand, had no issue with the premise and rated her marriage with Brett as a 7.

Henry's wife Christina found it skeptical that Brett wouldn't rate the marriage, especially after hearing Olivia's score. "It sounds like an easy cop out situation. It seems sketchy to me," Christina said. After the two couples, Henry and Christina and Brett and Olivia moved the party indoors, Christina again brought up Brett's refusal to rate the marriage, much to his annoyance. In true Brett fashion, he brushed her off with a sarcastic comment, but the mood had already turned tense.

Abruptly, Christina asked for some one-on-one time with Olivia to air her grievances with Brett. "I really want what's best for Olivia and with Brett, I see these red flags," Christina said in a diary cam. Despite Olivia's assertion that her and Brett are gelling well, Christina warned Olivia to "keep her eyes open," arguing that Brett "says all the right things," like many men who have hurt Christina in the past. Pushing back respectfully, Olivia said she goes into relationships full trust, and since Brett hasn't shown her any reason to question him, she isn't backing away from him just yet.

In a slipped in diary cam from later in the evening, Olivia questioned how Christina has such strong opinions of Brett when they've spent very little time together. Although, given Henry's contempt for Brett, it wouldn't be shocking to learn that he shared some of Brett's transgressions with his wife. Christina softened her criticism by invoking girl code, saying she only brought it up since she would want another woman to do the same for her. Olivia has yet to bring up the conversation to Brett on screen, but with the way things are going, this Married at First Sight couple has some uncomfortable group dinners in their future.
