The Married at First Sight 11 Matchmaking and Kick-Off Specials provided inside details on the pairing process and plenty of background information on the New Orleans cast and their heart's desires. After a successful ten seasons, the popular reality series may have found it's most intriguing matched couple to date, Bennett and Amelia.
Amelia, 27, is a medical resident originally from Richmond, Virginia. She has a host of hobbies including tight rope walking and can play several instruments. Her musical talent, remarkably, expands to her ability to perform as a one-person band. Her MAFS match is comparably as interesting. Bennett is a 28-year-old artistic director of a theater company, with a Masters in theater. Similar to his future wife he has a number of skills and talents. He's built the house he lives in and has written and performed in numerous plays. Expert, Dr. Pepper Schwartz believes they are the perfect match but fellow expert Pastor Calvin Roberson brings up points that challenge the confidence in their compatibility.
While Amelia and Bennett's artistic nature and resembling quirky tendencies make them appear as the perfect match the thespian's lifestyle may lead to problems for the couple. Amelia has mentioned she needs someone who can support themselves while she finishes her residency. She has also noted that they have to be flexible with moving because of her career. The New Jersey native is open to moving but his artistic path has caused him to take on multiple jobs to make ends meet, one of which is his position as a pedicab driver. If they stay together it is not a guarantee his jobs will be applicable wherever they end up.
He also stays in a tiny house he built for a production. It's an impressive feat but the house does not have a bathroom or kitchen. It is assumed Amelia thinks like Bennett but is she willing to stay in a place without a restroom?
Pastor Roberson argues that Bennett lacks direction in his life and will clash with Amelia's career-driven path. Dr. Pepper thinks differently, claiming Amelia is a doctor more about mission than material things. They could be the most perfect couple on the series or a train wreck ready to happen, either way, it shall serve as good reality television.
