Netflix is one of the most popular streaming services out there. Thanks to its unique concepts and catchy shows and films, viewers like to come back to it over and over again. Marriage or Mortgage was similarly catchy. In each episode, a couple chose whether they would spend their hard-earned money on their dream wedding or a mortgage for their dream home.

To make the decision more difficult for them, the hosts Sarah and Nichole offered them a variety of perks. While not every couple chose to go with the wedding in the end, some of the perks and wedding plans were truly cool.

Raven And Antonio

Raven and Antonio were in a difficult life situation. With two young sons, they lived in a small apartment and wanted to give their children more space. But, they also felt like it was a good time to get married after being together for almost a decade.

Sarah swayed them for the wedding decision when she secured Raven and Antonio custom Goo Goos candies for the same price as the factory-made ones. She also managed to shave two thousand off their wedding venue. While this is pretty cool, this wedding ranks low on this list since their ideal wedding got postponed due to COVID-19.

Evan And Liz

Evan and Liz first met during a concert and their love for music brought them together. They needed a new place after moving and they didn't like the fact the rent prices were so high. Despite that, they chose to get married in the end.

Sarah gave them some useful perks such as two trollies for the price of one to help transport their guests to the wedding. While these perks do come in handy, they don't have the same wow effect as some other wedding plans on this list.

Scott And Brittany

As one of the few couples who chose mortgage and not marriage, Scott and Brittany decided to build their dream home in the end—and that's exactly what they did. Sarah did offer them some pretty impressive perks such as a dance lesson or transport in a Rolls Royce, but they chose home and got married later.

Andrew And Hayley

Just like other couples on the show, Andrew and Hayley faced a real dilemma. They wanted to get married, but, at the same time, they felt like they needed their own place. Sarah tried to help them choose the wedding by offering things like free bridal party gifts, flower crowns, or a discounted custom suit for Andrew.

While somewhat impressive, it still wasn't enough to sway the couple, who chose to get a mortgage instead and married seven months later.

Sarah And Eli

Sarah and Eli are the one couple that, unfortunately, seemed to have broken up after their appearance on the reality show. However, that doesn't change the fact their episode was full of tension and surprises. They initially chose to wed because it looked like their dream house wouldn't be available. It helped that Sarah threw in cool perks such as a free helicopter ride after the wedding and also arranged the ideal food and drinks for their wedding.

However, after they had chosen to wed, they got the offer to buy their dream house, and for a smaller price than they offered! That was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so the couple changed their minds and went with the house instead.

Denise And Nicholas

Denise and Nicholas are one of the few couples who went with a mortgage, not a marriage. The main reason was that they needed a bigger place for their family. Nicholas has a daughter Tatum from his first marriage, and he and Denise want to adopt a child. They chose to get a house and they later eloped and married during a small ceremony.

With that said, the perks Sarah offered them were pretty impressive. She got them a free veil for Denise, discounted vintage furniture to use for their wedding, and 50 percent off their alcohol tab. However, it seems like Denise and Nicholas made the right choice, and their small intimate wedding was just as good, if not better as the one Sarah helped them plan.

Precious And Alex

Precious and Alex lived nearby Alex's mom Dorothy but were ready to get their own place. They were planning to start a family with the help of IVF because they struggled with fertility issues. Despite the importance of a house, they celebrated their love in the end by choosing a wedding.

Sarah helped them get their dream wedding by arranging a sit-down plated dinner for the price of a buffet, as well as the main thing Precious wanted, that being a ranch fountain at her wedding! While not everybody's a fan of ranch theming, it's hard to deny it sounds awesome. So, even though the couple had to downsize their wedding due to COVID-19, the ranch fountain was still present. Of course, the cigars to honor the memory of Alex's dad were a nice gesture, too.

Emily And Braxton

Emily and Braxton had a dilemma between a wedding or a house. They still lived with Braxton's parents and wanted their own place but at the same time, Emily had dreamt of a big wedding since she was little.

In the end, the couple chose a wedding in a Southern-inspired, barn-style. It helped that Sarah got some perks they wanted. One of the best was the donut wall which presented an unusual form of buffet for their wedding. She also helped them get an ice sculpture that functioned as a bar, too. Their wedding reflected their personalities well and was lively and fun.

Cindy And Karla

As one of the liveliest couples on the show, Cindy and Karla wanted to escape the house where Karla used to live with her ex-wife. At the same time, they wanted to celebrate their love and have their "big gay wedding," as they called it. Cindy and Karla chose the wedding in the end.

Sarah was able to secure some impressive perks for them such as a discount for their dream band, Big City Rhythm, or a free valet. All of this helped the couple organize an unforgettable wedding.

Alex And Whitney

The ER nurses Alex and Whitney were one of the most sympathetic couples on the show. The two travel-loving women wanted a new home since they were tired of paying rent, but they also wanted to celebrate their love.

Alex and Whitney chose the wedding in the end. It helped that Sarah got them a lot of fun perks, such as their perfect wedding dresses for 50 percent off, free veils, and a beautiful flower circle ring that formed a backdrop to their altar. Not to mention she helped them make a deal with a great photographer. The couple then had their dream wedding in February 2020.
