The popular Nintendo Switch sports game Mario Golf: Super Rush gives players the option to choose from 16 different iconic characters in the Super Mario World, all of which come with their own unique outfits. While some characters like Yoshi, Kong, and Boo make very little attempt to adorn themselves in a stylish outfit on the golf course, others like Toad and Toadette go out of their way to dress to impress while on the green.

From colorful accessories such as visors, cleats, clubs, gloves, jewelry, hats, belt buckles, and more, find out which Mario Golf: Super Rush outfits stand out the most.

Luigi

Neck and neck with his brother Mario for sartorial supremacy in the beloved Mario sports game, Luigi slightly bests his sibling for a couple of subtle reasons. First, notice the way in which Luigi pops a high collar, indicating a brimming amount of confidence that borders on arrogance. Mario is too humble for such shenanigans.

Moreover, Luigi's trademark green outfit perfectly complements the rolling verdant hills and grassy holes on the golf course, making him feel at home in a natural environment. More nuanced yet, the blue-lining of his hat brim perfectly matches his blue belt, with the green, blue, and white-glove also matching his cleats.

Bowser

With due respect for Bowser Jr.'s snazzy golf outfit, his father goes above and beyond. Busier than most, Bowser sports a collared black golf shirt, red and black pants, and two spiky metal bracelets on his arms that give him a rough-hewn death-metal vibe.

The real winning aspect of Bowser's outfit, however, is the cool red and black color coordination he aligns with his fiery visor, two-toned pants, and a perfectly matching driving club. His spiky metal belt and cleats also reflect his shiny bracelets, mixing fashion and function like a true boss.

King Bob-omb

Playable for the first time in the series, King Bob-omb makes quite a first impression with his rutilant gold furnishings. Adorned with nothing more than a shiny gold crown with red rubies and gigantic matching golf spikes with hilariously pointy curled tips, the King hardly has to try to stand out from the pack.

Despite retaining his look from previous games, King Bob-omb adds to the striking ensemble by using a black and gold golf club that accentuates his royal appearance. All hail the king indeed!

Mayor Pauline

Also playable for the first time in the series, Mayor Pauline swaps her ravishing ruby red gown for a powerful and professional variation on the golf course. In Mario Golf: Super Rush, Mayor Pauline stuns in a red and gold sleeveless, zip-up vest with a high collar and matching throwback golf cap and dangling earrings. She's sophisticated and casual at once.

With sleek black golf pants that match her natural hair color and red and black shoes to accentuate her matching glove and golf club, Mayor Pauline looks like a true pro ready to take on the most skilled golfers. The only thing that slightly mismatches is her purple belt, otherwise, it's outfits like these that help make Super Rush the best Mario golf game of all.

Toadette

With lengthy pigtails tied into large pink and white knots that resemble her trademark mushroom insignia, Toadette has one of the most adorable outfits in the game. Her gorgeous pink and white dress perfectly complements her hair color, as does her pink golf club and driver.

Rounded out with a striking red and gold vest, Toadette is almost as fashionably adept as her beau, Toad. However, Toadette's clunky brown shoes leave a lot to be desired, especially when they don't even appear to be outfitted with spikes to properly grip the grass.

Princess Daisy

Narrowly besting Princess Peach is Princess Daisy, namely for the amount of bedazzled accentuation she adds to her striking golf outfit in the game. Daisy sports a white miniskirt with yellow lining and turquoise jewels that bounce off her yellow golf shirt, turquoise flower earrings, and crown pendant.

The coordination doesn't stop there. With a tan belt to match her unique knee-high socks, glove, and earth-toned golf spikes, Daisy knows she has a royal image to uphold and does with the utmost style. She even has a fleck of turquoise on her golf club to drive the point home.

Waluigi

With a clean outfit ripped right out of a 1930s gangster movie, Waluigi might as well look to rob a bank after playing 12 holes in Mario Golf: Super Rush. With a purple vest worn over a gray and white pinstriped button-up, Waluigi's coolest wardrobe choice is the matching purple fedora aligned with a red rose.

With traditional, albeit curl-tipped, purple and white golf spikes to match his golf club and glove, Waluigi may not have the best golf swing in the game, but few characters will outdress him on the greens.

Wario

No outfit is more of an ostentatious eyesore than Wario's wild yellow and purple checkered getup in the game. If distracting rivals with his clothing is the object of Wario's master plan, then his egregiously mismatched curly green shoes are sure to do the trick.

Rounding out Wario's warped and weird outfit is a color-coordinated cowboy hat and a black lining on his glove that somehow bounces off his bushy eyebrows and jagged black mustache. As wild as they come, Wario dresses in a way that reinforces his zany personality. As such, here's hoping Wario wears this outfit in the new Mario movie.

Toad

Without question, Toad is the most dapper male character in Mario Golf: Super Rush. Combing the full package that also pays homage to fallen golf legend Payne Stewart, Toad dons a fresh two-toned blue button-up vest below a sharp red bowtie and immaculate white pants and undershirt. This was what golfers used to look like during the sport's heyday.

Cuter yet, Toad sports an ill-fitting blue and yellow traditional golfer's cap on top of his trademark round mushroom head. The yellow parts of his hat are matched with the yellow laces on his blue and white shoes, which also perfectly compliments his blue and white glove.

Rosalina

Thanks to her accessorized magic wand to go with her color-coded golf club, the great Mario spinoff character Rosalina's breathtaking aquamarine blouse, white miniskirt, and matching leggings is one of the most complete outfits in the game. Her gold-star wand matches her gold crown, earrings, and star-shaped pendant, and her natural eye color could not be more identical to the shade of her shirt, shoes, and glove.

All told, Rosalina has the most disarming outfit in the game, with her wand responsible for creating the special shot that allows her to turn golf balls into bits of star fragments on impact.
