After Tristan Thompson admitted to fathering Maralee Nichols' baby, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians affiliate has reportedly 'done nothing' to help support his newborn son. Just over one month after Tristan owned up to the paternity results, the NBA player is accused of being an absentee father. The allegations come as Khloé Kardashian gets comfortable being single after dumping Tristan last summer. With an upset ex-girlfriend, a new baby, and a new baby momma looking for child support, Tristan has dug himself into a ditch he can't get out of.
Khloé and Tristan were already broken up when he was named in Maralee's paternity suit. In the suit, Tristan attempted to downplay his relations with Maralee but admitted to sleeping with her on the night of his 30th birthday. It was the same day Khloé posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to him confirming their reconciliation. But instead of being faithful to Khloé after his last cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods, Tristan was hooking up with Maralee behind Khloé's back and ended up getting her pregnant. Khloé and Tristan were in the process of planning for a second child with he conceived one with someone else.
Now that Maralee has confirmed Tristan's paternity, she's calling the ball player out for doing nothing for their son. “Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son,” Maralee’s rep, Harvey Englander, told Page Six in a statement. “He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance.” The reveal comes amid reports that Tristan could be paying each of his baby mamas $40,000 a month. Jordan Craig is the mother of Tristan's eldest son Prince. Khloé and Tristan welcomed their 4-year-old daughter True together, and now Tristan has another baby boy added to the list.
During Tristan's messy legal battle with Maralee, alleged text messages showed him telling Maralee he wouldn't be there for her or the child if she went forward with having the baby. Tristan is accused of trying to persuade the personal trainer to terminate the pregnancy. In the end, Maralee relocated from Houston, Texas to Los Angeles and filed a paternity suit against Tristan. While he tried to place a gag order on her, the details of their case still became public. When fans realized Tristan had been cheating on Khloé during their reconciliation, he became a trending topic for all of the wrong reasons.
While admitted to fathering his third child, Tristan issued a vague apology to everyone that he hurt publicly and privately and personally apologized to Khloe for all the pain he's caused her. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is reportedly focusing on her health and co-parenting True with Tristan. Sources say she has no plans of ever taking Tristan back. Tristan was recently traded from the Sacramento Kings to the Indiana Pacers and will be further away from Khloé. With three children to care for, Tristan should likely focus on his game and financial investments.
