Manifest season 4 rounds out the rest of its cast as it makes the jump to Netflix, with many of the original actors returning for the revival. If there's any show that perfectly exemplifies the power of fan enthusiasm these days, it's Manifest. First airing on NBC for three seasons, the paranormal drama was canceled back in June due to dwindling ratings. As series creator Jeff Rake had envisioned 6 seasons for Manifest, most of the show's biggest mysteries remained unanswered. Fans were quick to hop on social media, armed with the hashtag #SaveManifest, with the hope of reviving the show either at NBC or a streaming service.
Though prospects initially didn't look too good, there has finally been a light at the end of the tunnel. Just a few weeks ago, news broke that Netflix will bring back Manifest for a fourth and final season to wrap up its story. The series will see its budget increase in the shift to streaming, and its cast has been offered pay bumps as well. For a short while, the full cast list for Manifest season 4 has remained a mystery. Luckily, that has now been finalized.
Per Deadline, Netflix and WB Television have secured the returns of all of Manifest's original cast, save for some notable exceptions. Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, and J.R. Ramirez all closed their deals just before the Netflix announcement, and they have now been joined by fellow series regulars Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise, and Holly Taylor. Ty Dolan, who appeared in the Manifest season 3 finale as an older Cal Stone, has been upped to a series regular for season 4 and will be taking over the role from Jack Messina.
Right now, the only person whose fate remains up in the air is Matt Long. He has a commitment to the NBC pilot Getaway, though there's a chance he could return to Manifest for season 4 if the scheduling permits it. As for who will be leaving Manifest, there is the aforementioned Messina, as well as Athena Karkanis, whose character Grace was killed in the season 3 finale by Taylor's Angelina.
Save for those who are departing or remain a question mark, Manifest has managed to keep its core cast very much intact. This will be a relief for fans, as it surely wouldn't be a proper conclusion without characters like Saanvi (Kaur) and Olive (Blaise). Additionally, the return of Taylor confirms the season 3 cliffhanger involving her character will be resolved in Manifest's final episodes. Production isn't expected to begin until later this year, so it will still be some time before audiences can see these installments. Now that the whole gang is back, though, it's full speed ahead.
