Stunt performers pay tribute to The Mandalorian in an awesome new video. Although the highly popular Disney+ series has yet to launch in several countries around the globe, the internet has so far proven to be a hotbed of Mandalorian memes and fan made videos.

As the first live-action Star Wars TV series, there was considerable anticipation tempered with some mild concerns from fans over exactly how The Mandalorian would fare upon its release. As any fan knows, there’s a lot to get just right when it comes to doing anything associated with the iconic franchise. A Star Wars TV series was the sort of thing that most fans wanted to see, but of course, it had to be done right. Thankfully, blockbuster filmmaker Jon Favreau took the project to heart and ended up doing an excellent job of building a world that exists a mere five years after the events of Return of the Jedi. The series surpassed the initial expectations of many, introducing the likes of The Child (aka Baby Yoda) and rejuvenating the sort of interest in a Star Wars character that arguably hasn’t been seen for years. The Spaghetti Western-esque tone of the series also left fans riveted by intense action sequences that remain worth re-watching, even today.

The first season of The Mandalorian may be finished, but fans are counting the days until season two arrives later this year. In the meantime, the aforementioned memes and videos continue to roll out and now fans have been given an especially action packed tribute to the series. The new video comes courtesy of YouTuber Micah Moore’s channel, The Legend of Micah. Entitled The Mandalorian Stunt Tribute, the 1:13 long video can be seen below, showing off a wide range of well staged stunt work paired with some pretty impressive Mandalorian action.

The stunt work is done by a handful of professional stunt people who work on a variety of films and TV shows. During their practice sessions, they often take on different characters to play, and in this particular instance, The Mandalorian served as their inspiration. Performer Ben Aycrigg took on the role of the Mandalorian character, with the costumes provided by some cosplay friends. It’s a well made but brief taste of what it takes to create the sort of action sequence that can be seen in the series. What’s more, the addition of Baby Yoda is sure to please fans who get to once again see the mysterious little tyke help the Mandalorian out of bind. All in all, this is a well made, well produced stunt video and it’s likely that fans of the series would indeed like to see more of these made and uploaded to Moore’s account.

As Baby Yoda’s popularity doesn’t seem to be dissipating any time soon, fans will take any opportunity they can to see more of the character. Next autumn still seems a very long way off, meaning that those who just can’t wait to see the second season of The Mandalorian will have to make do for the time being with the current wealth of memes and fanmade videos. Thankfully, as is the case with the above video, some very creative and well-made stuff is out there to satisfy even the most critical fans.
