Will The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer Reveal Any Big Surprises?

The promise of a new The Mandalorian season 3 trailer releasing soon will spark speculation about what will be included. Viewers can expect to see a lot more of Pedro Pascal's lead hero and Grogu now that they are reunited after The Book of Boba Fett. There should also be a lot more of Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) based on how big of a role she is expected to play. The question that looms over the new The Mandalorian season 3 trailer is just how much it will reveal about Jon Favreau's story. He has kept details about the series very much under wraps since the very beginning, but some surprises could come.

Since the wait for The Mandalorian season 3 has been so long, Favreau, Lucasfilm, and Disney could be incentivized to deliver a trailer that will really get audiences excited for what is to come. This would be a break from Favreau's style, but even the Mandalorian season 3 synopsis teases some of the surprises that are in store. With Favreau and Dave Filoni known to be working on Ahsoka and other Star Wars shows, the new footage could confirm if audiences will see Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant), and others again.

There is plenty of potential for The Mandalorian season 3's trailer to leave fans in shock. An appearance by Grand Admiral Thrawn in live-action would do the trick, as would appearances by Star Wars Rebels characters like Sabine Wren or Ezra Bridger. The show has also dropped several potential connections to Snoke, so furthering those hints in the trailer would certainly get fans talking. If Favreau and Filoni really want to leave a big impact on audiences when this The Mandalorian season 3 trailer releases, showing Grogu use a lightsaber or talk would do just that.
