The latest posters for The Mandalorian season 2 feature numerous Star Wars Easter eggs. The Mandalorian premiered last year on Disney+ as one of the streaming service's very first original shows. It follows lone bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) as he travels the galaxy picking up odd jobs. At first, that seems to be the entire series' main premise, but the end of the first episode drops a major twist: One of Din's targets is a baby belonging to Yoda's species. Instead of turning him over, Din takes Baby Yoda (or The Child, per canon) and vows to find him a proper home.

Ever since season 1 came to an end, fans have eagerly awaited The Mandalorian season 2. Just last month, Disney+ confirmed the next season of The Mandalorian will premiere at the end of October. Specific plot details are still being kept under wraps, but the basic synopsis for the season, as well as The Mandalorian season 2 trailer, confirm Din and Baby Yoda are still looking for a safe haven. Additionally, it's expected that they will cross paths with many old and new supporting characters.

Two of those supporting characters - Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Greef Karga (Carl Winters) -  join Din and Baby Yoda in these new Mandalorian season 2 posters, released by Disney on Monday. At first glance, the four posters seem like typical character spotlights, but eagle-eyed Star Wars fans will notice several Easter eggs in the background. For example, Gamorrean faces appear on Din's poster, as well as those for Karga and Cara. There are other creatures and symbols to be found in all four posters, which can be seen down below.

Fans can spot an Aqualish in the top left corner of Karga's poster, and it almost looks like there's a strikethrough circle around its face. That almost gives the impression Din will be traveling to a place where Aqualishes aren't welcome, which could make for an interesting storyline. Beyond that, there's a Rebel Alliance starbird on Cara's poster, which connects to her past as a rebel shock trooper. Perhaps The Mandalorian season 2 will delve into Cara's backstory?

The sheer number of Gamorreans on the posters suggest fans will see some pop up in The Mandalorian's upcoming season. Exactly what will cause Din and Baby Yoda to cross paths with them remains to be seen, though most Star Wars fans will likely associate Gamorreans with Jabba the Hutt. Obviously, Jabba won't be seen in The Mandalorian considering his death before the start of the show, but his connection to the Gamorreans does leave the alien species with a negative connotation. These new Mandalorian posters leave fans with more questions, so it's a good thing they only have to wait a few weeks more to get their answers.
