The Mandalorian season 2, episode 6, "Chapter 14: The Tragedy" marked the return of several cast members and characters. Disney+'s Star Wars show is approaching its final few episodes of the year, so it's starting to move its narrative significantly with regard to Moff Gideon's pursuit of Baby Yoda. The Mandalorian season 2, episode 6, which was directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by creator Jon Favreau, saw the villain finally catching up to Mando and Grogu, but they also got some help from new allies.
Following Ahsoka Tano's (Rosario Dawson) instructions, Mando brought Baby Yoda to the Jedi Temple on Tython where Grogu could choose his own path and hopefully connect to other Jedi. But before they were able to finish what they went there for, Moff Gideon's troops ambushed them. Thankfully, they were assisted by Boba Fett and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), who now works with the former bounty hunter. Their joined forces still weren't enough to protect Grogu, however, as he was taken away to Gideon by his Dark Troopers.
Unlike previous outings, "The Tragedy" featured mainly a returning cast of characters. Here's everyone who appeared in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 6.

Pedro Pascal As Din Djarin/The Mandalorian
Playing the titular role named, real name Din Djarin, is Pedro Pascal who's known for his other TV roles in Game of Thrones and Narcos. He's also appeared in films like Kingsman: The Golden Circle and Triple Frontier. Pascal's next big project is Wonder Woman 1984.
Temuera Morrison As Boba Fett
After his surprise cameo at the end of The Mandalorian season 2 premiere, Temura Morrison is back to reprise Boba Fett in "The Tragedy," with a meatier role. The actor first appeared as Boba's father Jango Fett in Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones. Boba Fett was presumed dead in Return of the Jedi, before The Mandalorian revealed he somehow survived. Outside of Star Wars, Morrison played Arthur Curry in Aquaman.
Ming-Na Wen As Fennec Shand
Introduced in The Mandalorian season 1, episode 5, Fennec Shand, played by Ming-Na Wen re-emerges this year, and this time, she's now working with Boba Fett. The actress is no stranger to Disney having appeared in Mulan and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Ming-Na Wen's other TV credits ER and Stargate Universe.
Giancarlo Esposito As Moff Gideon
The Mandalorian's big villain, Moff Gideon, is played by Giancarlo Esposito, who goes after Baby Yoda to harvest his midi-chlorians. Best known for playing Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and prequel spin-off, Better Call Saul, Esposito was also in Once Upon a Time, Do The Right Thing, and Okja.
Gina Carano As Cara Dune
At the end of The Mandalorian season 2, episode 6, Gina Carano reprises her role as a former Rebel shock trooper, Cara Dune, who now operates as the Marshal in Nevarro. The former MMA star has slowly made a name for herself in Hollywood by appearing in a string of acting projects such as Deadpool, Fast & Furious 6, and Haywire.
The Mandalorian Season 2, Episode 6 Guest Stars & Cameos
Gabriel Ebert as Gunnery Officer - The only new actor to appear in "The Tragedy" is Gabriel Ebert who plays the Gunner Officer. The Tony-award winning actor has appeared in The Blacklist and Mr. Mercedes.
Katy O'Brian As Comms Officer - Credited as a Comms Officer but also appears to be a trusted assistant by Moff Gideon is Katy O' Brian who first appeared in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 4. Among her other credits include Black Lightning and Westworld.
