Ahsoka's introduction in The Mandalorian season 2 is slowly nearing, but how exactly will she help Din Djarin in his mission to reunite Baby Yoda with the Jedi? Season 2 of the Star Wars/Disney+ series is underway with three episodes already released out of eight. As the show continues, the anticipation for Ahsoka's debut is only increasing, especially since The Mandalorian season 2, episode 3. "Chapter 11: The Heiress" directly mentioned her.

Coming from The Mandalorian season 2, episode 2, Din and Baby Yoda safely deliver Frog Lady to her husband, Frog Man, in exchange for new intel about where they can locate other Mandalorians. While the tip ended up being bogus, Din still encountered several of his people who gave him new information about where he can locate the Jedi. Bo-Katan Kryze, who makes her live-action debut on The Mandalorian, told the whereabouts of Ahsoka in exchange for his help hijacking an Imperial ship.

Bo-Katan reveals that Ahsoka is in the city of Calodan on the forest planet of Corvus, setting Din and Baby Yoda's path moving forward. After Din meets the Togruta, it'll be interesting to see how exactly she can help him with his endeavor. While Bo-Katan directly called her a Jedi, it's not exactly the case; Ahsoka left the Order during the Clone Wars after she lost faith in the organization. Since then, she's been mostly operating independently, helping those in need, and teaming up with allies for new adventures. Regardless of her actual title, however, there are still a couple of ways he can help Mando.

Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels

Given her time with the Jedi Order, Ahsoka has had a first-hand encounter with Jedi Grandmaster Yoda — the same species as Baby Yoda. So far in The Mandalorian, no one seems to know anything about the creature, which makes sense considering that it's a rare kind. Ahsoka could provide Din information about what she knows about Master Yoda, which would help him better understand the Child, his needs, and his abilities. Meanwhile, although Ahsoka's no longer a part of the Jedi Order, she is Force-sensitive, much like the Child. It's safe to say that Din is unaware of what this means as he simply described Baby Yoda's move to tap into the Force as having the ability to move things with his mind. While the Armorer immediately related this skill set to the Jedi, she also doesn't know how exactly it works. With Ahsoka around, she can not only better inform Mando about Baby Yoda's special skills, but she can also, perhaps, even teach the infant more abilities which could prove useful down the road.

So, what are the chances of Ahsoka actually leading Mando to the Jedi? It's difficult to say since not much is known about what the character is up to at this point in the history of Star Wars. As previously mentioned, she's technically not a Jedi, so it's possible that she's not involved or in contact with anyone who's still in the Order. That said, depending on whether or not she and Sabine Wren located Ezra Bridger, he could be the key in bringing Baby Yoda to the Jedi since he's supposed to still be one. In any case, it's safe to assume that Din and Baby Yoda meeting Ahsoka in an upcoming The Mandalorian episode won't be the end to their mission.
