A die-hard fan of Disney+’s The Mandalorian has spent over $10,000 to build a life-sized Razor Crest replica. The gunship is widely known as Din Djarin’s trusted travel method of choice, though it has caused him no small amount of frustration along the way. In addition to space travel, the ship also has a small but familiar link to Baby Yoda.

As The Mandalorian continues to enjoy a considerable amount of success, fans are gifted with characters, weapons and reference points that linger long after episodes finish. The sheer amount of mileage that the series has gained from the introduction of Baby Yoda alone has been remarkable, with the pint-sized hero carrying a significant degree of mystery and intrigue with him. What’s more, the Star Wars universe being what it is ensures that fans are not only riveted by what’s to come, but also inspired to venture off on their own and use their imaginations in their own unique ways. Time and time again this has resulted in some pretty interesting interpretations and arguably helped to maintain the inclusivity that Star Wars has always offered its dedicated fanbase.

The most recent addition to the list of fan-made memorabilia is nothing short of phenomenal. As the NY Post reports, a Mandalorian fan in Russia has really taken things to the next level with his life-sized replica of Djarin’s Razor Crest ship. After fund-raising online among other fans of the hit Star Wars series, Ayaal Fedorov and a group of friends were able to put roughly $10,200 into building the replica in their hometown of Yakutsk, Siberia. In addition to the money that was donated, Fedorov also sold his car and used his own personal savings to build the 46-foot craft, which weighs over a ton.

It’s clear from the photos that an incredible amount of work went into the construction of the Razor Crest replica, and so far the ship has been a very popular attraction with Yakutsk locals. The fact that the ship is in Siberia adds to the replica’s overall aesthetic as well, thanks to the region’s notoriously frigid and isolated geographical makeup. And although it’s very common for Star Wars fans to get creative with their love for the franchise, the Razor Crest replica has got to be one of the most dedicated efforts that anyone anywhere can recall.

Perhaps one of the most interesting things about Fedorov’s Razor Crest replica is that there doesn’t seem to be any mention of charging to see the craft. After using his own personal finances and selling his car just to make this piece of The Mandalorian a reality, it’s a testament to how badly Star Wars fans want to bring joy to other fans that Fedorov and his friends undertook such time and expense. Monetary gain had nothing to do with the project and now thanks to these efforts, fans from all around the world can marvel at what was done and be inspired to bring their own Star Wars visions to life.
