The Mandalorian releases episodes weekly, but not every episode is out on a Friday - so here's when the next episode releases on Disney+. Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian is the first live-action Star Wars show. It follows a lone gunslinger who's on a self-imposed mission to protect Baby Yoda (though the character itself isn't Yoda but rather a member of the same species).

Favreau writes episodes for The Mandalorian in addition to executive producing. And he's written all but two episodes for The Mandalorian season 1; episodes 5 was penned by Dave Filoni and episode 6 by Christopher Yost and Rick Famuyiwa. The Mandalorian's series premiere was titled "Chapter 1" and was directed by Filoni; meanwhile episode 2, titled "The Child", and episode 3, titled "The Sin", were helmed by Famuyiwa and Deborah Chow, respectively.

Disney+ releases the next episode of The Mandalorian on Friday, November 29. Time-wise, it's supposed to be available to stream 12:01 am PST/3:01 am EST. Despite this, it's worth noting that all three previous episodes have dropped at different times thus far. Platform subscribers have shared varying the experiences when it comes to specific release times. Some claim that it depends on the where viewers are based; others claim that it has something to do with the device they're using to stream Disney+. Disney has yet to address this issue. Perhaps they'll actually stick to the schedule and roll out the show's next episode for everyone at the same time - regardless of where they are or what device they're using to access the streaming platform.

The Mandalorian Baby Yoda

While Lucasfilm has yet to release the title for The Mandalorian's next episode, its story was also written by Favreau with Bryce Dallas Howard stepping behind-the-camera to helm the episode. The episode's synopsis teases the Mandalorian's new adventure as he flees with Baby Yoda. But as he escapes Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) and other hunters from the guild thanks to the last minute help of his fellow Mandalorians, including the Favreau-voiced Paz Vizla, danger continues to follow him. He teams up with a brand new character, Gina Carano's Cara Dune, to protect villagers from ruthless raiders. Not much is known regarding the Cara at this point, but it's been previously confirmed that she's a former Rebel Shock Trooper-turned-mercenary who worked with the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War.

At a time where binge watching is the norm with Netflix dropping full seasons of their shows in one go, The Mandalorian's weekly release schedule may not sit well with everyone. However, regardless of one feels about it, this ploy seems to work on the show's favor considering that people have been tuning in week-after-week - allowing Disney to hold people's interest longer. It also allows people to do a deep dive of the episodes as they have several days to dissect each one of them.
