Here's a complete guide to The Mandalorian cast and the characters they will play. As the first live-action TV show in the history of the Star Wars franchise, The Mandalorian launches on Disney's new streaming service, Disney+, and releases new episodes on a weekly basis.

The Mandalorian comes from the mind of Jon Favreau, the accomplished director of Iron Man and The Lion King and all-around Star Wars fan. He wrote every episode of the first season and received some help from Star Wars: Rebels creator Dave Filoni, who also directs two episodes. Taika Waititi, Rick Famuyiwa, Deborah Chow, and Bryce Dallas Howard also direct episodes in season 1. All of them helped bring The Mandalorian's story to life, which revolves around a lead bounty hunter in Mandalorian armor and takes place after the original Star Wars trilogy.
