In light of The Mandalorian season 2 premiere, Twitter rolls out a secret special Baby Yoda "like" button. After almost a year since season 1 wrapped up, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Baby Yoda are back to continue their adventure. And as expected, fans have been flocking to their chosen social media sites to discuss their favorite moment from "The Marshal."

The Mandalorian season 2 begins with Din still on his mission to reunite Baby Yoda with his kind. Instead of looking for Jedi, Mando opted to search for his fellow Mandalorians in the hopes that they can help him with his endeavor. After getting intel that he could find what he's looking for in Tatooine, he and Baby Yoda revisit the iconic Star Wars planet, venturing into a region relatively unexplored in the franchise. They reunite with Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) and meet Cobb Vanth/The Marshal (Timothy Olyphant).

Knowing full well that the public is in love with Baby Yoda, the episode made sure to include several adorable child reaction shots. Much like in The Mandalorian season 1, this quickly became a big topic of conversation among fans online. To take advantage of the traction, Disney, in cooperation with Twitter, has come up with a way to promote The Mandalorian on the platform. When people use #TheMandalorian in their tweets, the "like" button will turn into a cute Baby Yoda avatar.

Interestingly, however, The Mandalorian season 2, episode 1, was light on Baby Yoda. Other than tagging along with Din, he didn't get to do as much. Even when the Mos Pelgo villagers and Tusken Raiders were on the verge of being eaten by the Krayt Dragon, he remained uninvolved — different from when Mando was almost killed by the Mudhorn last season. Perhaps since Din wasn't really in danger throughout the episode, he wasn't compelled to take action and use the Force to help them. That being said, fans are just thrilled to see more of him after months of the show's hiatus.

However, for those who are worried that The Mandalorian is pulling back on featuring Baby Yoda, it won't be the case. Unlike its first season, which debuted without any hint the creature would be introduced, he's now front and center in various marketing materials — an indication that he will be a significant part of the ongoing season. Besides that, Disney and Lucasfilm also know how much the public loves the child, so they'd want to use the character as frequently as they can. That said, it's also a smart move to keep its involvement at this point since it's safe to assume that he will be the story's focal point moving forward.
