The Mandalorian fan created Baby Yoda's lightsaber using the knob he loved so much from the Razor Crest. Season 2 of the hit Star Wars Disney+ show already ended, giving fans time to ponder what's next for Din Djarin and Grogu now that they've went their separate ways.

Following Baby Yoda's abduction in Tython, Din plots his rescue from Moff Gideon by assembling his team of allies for his mission. With the location of Moff Gideon's secured thanks to Mayfield's help, they made their move and eventually succeeded in securing Grogu and capturing the villain. Mando and Baby Yoda's reunion, however, was short-lived; as it turns out, their trip to Tython did tip-off other existing Jedi as previously suggested by Ahsoka Tano, particularly Luke Skywalker, who tracked them down and picked up the infant to train him with his ability to tap into the Force.

With The Mandalorian season 2 ending on that bittersweet note, the pair are now heading separate paths, with Din presumably going to focus on his brewing conflict with Bo-Katan Kryze with regard to the real owner of the Darksaber. Meanwhile, Baby Yoda will eventually begin his training to be a proper Jedi — this means that he'll soon be wielding his own lightsaber. The Mandalorian fan created Baby Yoda's lightsaber using the knob he loved so much from the Razor Crest. Given this, Reddit user TethanProps created a weapon for him using the shiny knob he was playing with from the Razor Crest. Check it out below:

During the same episode as Grogu's abduction, the Razor Crest was blown up by Moff Gideon's minions, more likely to ensure that Din wasn't able to immediately follow them after they snatched his quasi-son away. Among the few things that he was able to retrieve from the rubble were the Beskar spear he got from the Magistrate in Corvus and the shiny knob, which emphasized the loss he just suffered after Baby Yoda was taken away from him. Interestingly, the spear made a notable appearance in The Mandalorian season 2 finale as Mando used it to duel Moff Gideon, who was using the Darksaber at that time. The knob has yet to re-emerge, although it's clear that Din also pocketed it after his ship was destroyed.

Considering how much focus was put on that shiny round ball, it's safe to assume that it will eventually factor in future The Mandalorian storytelling. The idea that Baby Yoda will use it as part of the handle of his future lightsaber is such a good creative choice, and frankly, not outside the realm of possibility, especially if Din secretly gave it to Grogu before he left with Luke. In any case, there's an expectation that the pair will eventually reunite in the future.
