Dwayne Johnson snuggles Baby Yoda from the live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian in fan art. The stars of Jumanji: The Next Level are known for their comedic nature, especially good friends Johnson and Kevin Hart. Only this time, the new internet sensation known as Baby Yoda is back for yet another meme.

Star Wars’ spinoff show The Mandalorian follows a bounty hunter after the events of Return of The Jedi as he recovers and protects the child unofficially known as Baby Yoda. Since the series premiere, there has been a nonstop barrage of memes, most recently connected to the image of Baby Yoda holding a cup of soup in episode 4 of the Disney+ show. Johnson, who's well known for using his social media to great effect, has now officially gotten in on the Baby Yoda memes by sharing one of himself with the Star Wars youngling.

On Instagram, Johnson himself shared the fan art of him cradling Baby Yoda (taking the place of Johnson’s daughter Tiana in the photo he recently posted of his new daughter) and jokingly thanked his 163 million followers for their “well wishes, love & support.” Johnson signed off by claiming he was excited for Baby Yoda to meet his brother, Hart. Clearly, the Jumanji star was enjoying taking part in the Baby Yoda meme phenomenon, and Hart must have enjoyed it as he even liked the post.

Johnson and Hart are currently gearing up for their December release, Jumanji: The Next Level, where they play video game avatars for Danny DeVito and Danny Glover's characters. Jumanji: The Next Level follows on from the hugely successful Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which released in December 2017 and went head-to-head with Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This month, The Next Level will again face off against Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Meanwhile, Disney is seemingly basking in the glow of their new superstar Baby Yoda, a clear highlight for fans across the internet. The demand for Baby Yoda merchandise is seemingly growing with each passing day, though officially licensed toys won't start hitting shelves until 2020.

With Johnson’s new film only a little over a week away, it’s not surprising that he has taken advantage of the Baby Yoda social media craze. Even Johnson’s former wrestling company, WWE, has taken advantage of this as the WWE on Fox Twitter used the popular Baby Yoda image. So the former pro wrestling superstar has once again shown the world his wit and intelligence by capitalizing on this phenomenon and brought the eyes of the public back on him, his co-star, and by default, Jumanji: The Next Level.
