The Hollywood Reporter is reporting the news that four more cast members have joined the upcoming fourth Mad Max film, entitled Fury Road. We already know that Tom Hardy (Bronson, RockNRolla) will be starring in the lead role with Charlize Theron co-starring, but joining them is Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Teresa Palmer and Adelaide Clemens.
Hoult is definitely starring in the movie, while Kravitz (Assassination of a High School President), Palmer (Wolf Creek) and Clemens (Love My Way) are in various stages of negotiations. Details are being kept under wraps about the Mad Max sequel, although we know Hoult's character is called "Nux" and the character Kravitz's is set to play is called "Five Wives." If cast, Palmer and Clemens would be, "in a convoy being chased by bad guys."
Hoult is probably the biggest addition to the cast, although those of you in the U.S. might not be familiar with him. He's a pretty well-known actor in the UK, having made a name for himself in the romantic comedy About A Boy with Hugh Grant and as the star of Skins in its first two seasons. He's also gained acclaim (he got a BAFTA nomination) recently for his role in A Single Man, which is expected to receive multiple Oscar nominations. You'll be getting a bit more familiar with Hoult soon, as he also stars in the upcoming Clash of the Titans remake.
As stated, details on Fury Road are not being let out for the time being, but along with a few of the character names we know that the story takes place not too long after the events of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, which means Max will still be relatively young. The project is being directed by George Miller, who was behind the original Mad Max trilogy. It's actually great to see the same guy come back years later to add more to the franchise.

How do you think the cast for Fury Road is shaping up? Are you glad the same guy who did the first three is coming back to do the fourth?
Fury Road is set to start shooting this summer in Australia and is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2011.
