Colson Baker, known by many as Machine Gun Kelly, confesses he once stabbed himself while trying to impress girlfriend Megan Fox. The renowned American rapper started his career in 2007, going on to release four mixtapes before signing with his label, Bad Boy Records, in 2011. Baker has moved between musical genres, starting his career heavily inspired by rap and hip-hop, and since moving toward what has been described as a more "pop-punk" sound. With this versatility in mind, it is far from surprising that Baker has also earned a handful of acting credits throughout the decade.

Machine Gun Kelly made his film debut in 2014, cast in the film Beyond The Lights as the vengeful ex-boyfriend. As the years went on, Baker starred in a number of other films, such as NerveThe King Of Staten Island, and Netflix's Bird Box. In 2020, he was cast in an indie film, Midnight In The Switchgrasswhich happened to be where he met his current girlfriend, Megan Fox. Fox has been an icon of the 21st century, praised for her many performances, most notably in the Transformers franchise and leading role in Jennifer's Body. She has also been fawned over by audiences around the world for her beauty.  Though Fox was married to Brian Austin Green for ten years, the couple officially split at the beginning of 2020. In May of that same year, Fox and Baker were alleged to be romantically involved. This was confirmed in June 2020 by US Weekly.

Baker recently appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, aptly wearing a t-shirt that featured his girlfriend’s face. During his appearance, he recounted the time that he accidentally stabbed himself while trying to impress Fox at the beginning of their relationship. “Travis [Barker] got me this knife that had an engravement from the new album on it, and I was like, 'Check this out, this is sick,' and I threw it up and it came and stuck in my hand,” he exclaimed while showing off the scar left on his hand. Baker had attempted to hold prolonged eye contact with Fox as he tossed the knife, so he was obviously unprepared when it came time to catch it.

These type of intense antics seem to be commonplace in the couple's relationship. Fox, who is known to be vocal about spirituality, claimed that she knew almost instantly Baker was her "twin flame." Baker himself has even commented that he "didn't know what true love was" until he and Fox first made eye contact. Fox has even gone as far as gifting the rapper with a necklace that contains her blood, to wear while she was traveling for a film. Baker didn't seen put off by this gesture in the least, posting a photo of the gift to Instagram with the caption, "I wear your blood around my neck." With such sweeping declarations of love, the pair has been the subject of online discourse over whether they are "goals" or "too much."

Indeed, Machine Gun Kelly has come a long way in his career since he first hit the scene as a rapper. Something that doesn't seem to have changed, though, is his unpredictability. As he continues to make his mark in the acting world, it'll be interesting to see if he and Fox will ever star in a film together. If they ever do, there's no doubt that it would produce many other wild stories for the two to document online. Clearly, Baker succeeded in impressing Fox, as the couple has been going strong and making headlines as they profess their love for one another.
