The new Apple TV+ streaming service is only a little over a month old, but M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant has immediately become their most talked about program.

Apple TV+ first hit the scene on November 1st and it came with a slew of original series ranging from The Morning Show to the Jason Momoa action vehicle, See. Apple TV+ has been seen as a bit of the outlier amongst the number of new streaming services like Disney+, but it's still making a strong impression. Without having a backlog of programming to fall back on, Apple TV+'s price tag of $4.99 a month may deter some, but it's also been provided free for a year to a number of people who have purchased Apple products within a certain window. Apple TV+ seems to have banked on big name celebrities to anchor their programming, and while that's also true to some degree with Servant, its bigger draw comes from the mysterious story and addictive storytelling that feels like vintage M. Night Shyamalan.

Created and written by Tony Basgallop with M. Night Shyamalan executive producing and directing the season premiere and finale, Servant examines a couple in mourning after the loss of their young child. The couple hires a nanny to help deal with some of the psychological trauma in play, but suddenly supernatural forces seem to be afoot and weirdness is rampant. Servant is one of few Apple TV+ programs that premiered after the service’s November 1st debut. Servant’s first three episodes premiered on November 28th and it instantly became one of the service’s more compelling and unpredictable new shows, but when do new episodes drop?

New Episodes Of Apple TV+’s Servant Release On Fridays

Like the majority of Apple TV+’s releases, new episodes of Servant become available on Fridays. The remaining seven episodes of Servant’s first season will release on a weekly basis rather than following a binge style approach. This release structure truly benefits the twists and turns of Servant’s storytelling. It’s easy to plow through the first three installments, but a weekly release on Fridays allows the mystery of Leanne the nanny and Baby Jericho’s existence to properly stew.

The rest of Servant’s ten-episode season will likely continue to explore Leanne’s infection of the Turner family as well as whatever is going on with this baby that may or may not be alive. With a second season already being secured, Servant has some room to play around with its larger story. Shyamalan believes that they have six seasons’ worth of material at their disposal, so let's hope that Apple TV+ is around long enough for this story to see completion.
