Rhythm of Destiny follows a diamond smuggler and former member of the triad, Bee, who decides to quit the crime game and have a life outside of that world.

Bee's retirement doesn't last long as he is quickly framed for a crime and must prove his innocence. Bee is close to his brother Kevin and intends to help him succeed in becoming a singer. Lucy Liu has a small role as one of Kevin's classmates.

Payback (1999) - 7.1

Mel Gibson portrays a thief, Porter, that is betrayed by the people closest to him and slowly plans his revenge as he recovers from his injuries.

Porter targets his wife and ex-partner who were the ones who betrayed him and took the money from their heist. The plot gets more complicated when he gets mixed up in an organized crime group including Lucy Liu's criminal and dominatrix character Pearl.

Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) - 7.1

The third film in the franchise sees Po more confident in himself but is challenged yet again when his mentor decides to quit training aspiring kung fu students and wants Po to take over for him.

Po has a difficult time adjusting to his new position as he tries to teach the young prodigies in his village. The voice actors return to their characters, including Lucy Liu as Furious Five member Viper.

Chicago (2002) - 7.1

Chicago is a musical about two women (Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renée Zellweger) who are in jail for murder and awaiting trial with their attorney, portrayed by Richard Gere.

The two are obsessed with fame and celebrity and vie for attention and reprieve from their crimes. Lucy Liu portrays Kitty Baxter, a rich heiress who takes attention away from Velma and Roxie's case when she kills her husband and his mistresses.

Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) - 7.2

The second film of the Kung Fu Panda franchise sees Po try to achieve inner peace after becoming a true kung fu master. Po begins to wonder about his past and his biological parents so he talks to his goose father and learns about his past and the voice actors return to their characters including Lucy Liu as Viper.

The sequel mostly focuses on Po's backstory and delves more into his character instead of focusing on his kung fu training as the first film did, although Po still does have his responsibilities as a protector of his home town.

Kung Fu Panda (2008) - 7.5

The first film of the Kung Fu Panda franchise sees Po (Jack Black) as a clumsy and hapless Panda who dreams of becoming a kung fu legend. The dream seems to be far out of his reach until a prophecy is revealed that Po will be a true master and save his hometown from the villainous Tai Lung.

He receives help and training from a master trainer and meets the team he trained called the Furious Five. Lucy Liu voices Viper, a snake, and part of the Furious Five who helps Po on his journey.

Detachment (2011) - 7.7

Detachment is an independent film starring Adrien Brody, portraying a substitute teacher, that takes a close look at the lives of several high school teachers and students.

It takes a candid look at their lives and how they deal with their own personal struggles and tragedies in their lives. Lucy Liu portrays the school's counselor and the film touches on her struggles to connect with the students.

Lucky Number Slevin (2006) - 7.7

Lucky Number Slevin is an engaging thriller with numerous plot twists thrown in that make sense but also surprise the audience throughout. The film stars Josh Hartnett as Slevin, a man gets caught up in a war between two New York crime lords and Slevin claims that it's a case of mistaken identity.

Lucy Liu co-stars as his neighbor who enjoys the mystery and intrigue of his life and helps him throughout the film. Bruce Willis, Ben Kingsley, Stanley Tucci, and Morgan Freeman appear in this film as well.

Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004) - 8.0

Deadly Viper Squad

The second Kill Bill film from Quentin Tarantino continues the Bride's (Uma Thurman) story as she picks up where she left off in her revenge plot from the first film, including killing Lucy Liu's O-Ren Ishii, who was on her list.

Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003) - 8.1

Kill Bill: Volume 1 follows the revenge story of the Bride who is tracking down a list of people who have wronged her in the past. She vows to get revenge and kill anyone who was involved in murdering the people she loved.

The Tarantino film shows his typical use of violence throughout as the Bride finds and kills her enemies one by one. Lucy Liu appears as one of the Bride's enemies and the two have a violent showdown.
