Since Lucifer began, fans have theorized about every aspect of the show, such as why Chloe was immune to Lucifer's desire "mojo," what would happen to Amenadiel's baby Charlie, Maze's character arc, and even if Trixie might have special powers.

As with any show that deals with supernatural elements, some of the fan theories can even delve into unbelievable territory, but as fans gear up for the sixth and final season and the return of some of Lucifer's best characters, some of their theories actually seem plausible. Whatever the nature of their various predictions for the show, Lucifer's fans are certainly creative with their ideas.

Chloe Dies And Goes To Heaven

This theory doesn't just suggest that Chloe will eventually die and end up in heaven, but Ohrellyy predicts that Lucifer will be redeemed enough at that point to join her there. Whether he is still in the position of God at this point or not remains to be seen.

Nonetheless, the idea is that Lucifer will gain his wings back, no longer be banished to Hell, and be welcomed to live out all of eternity in Heaven with the love of his many lives. The theory also suggests that perhaps they die together, with Lucifer believing he will end up back in Hell while she in Heaven, but he realizes he's back in Heaven with her. Even though Lucifer falling for Chloe was a plot twist on Lucifer that everyone saw coming, them ending up together would still be a sweet way to tie up the story.

Charlie Will Learn To Fly

When Amenadiel and Linda found out they were having a child together, they were both overjoyed and filled with panic. So much so that they bubble-wrapped the house, including dangerous things like the ceiling fan, should the baby be born with the ability to fly.

As it turned out, Charlie seemed to be born as a normal, human baby. But some fans theorize on Reddit that, as Charlie gets older, he will either learn he has superpowers or will gain them over time. One prediction is that Amenadiel will teach Charlie how to fly, reminiscent of the scene in Amazon Prime Video series The Boys when Homelander tried to teach his son how to do the same.

Trixie Will Become Princess Of Hell

In the same Reddit threat, Redditor WhereWolfish predicts that Trixie will become princess of Hell at the same time that Maze begins her reign as Queen of Hell. With the finale confirming that Lucifer is now God, he does owe it to Maze to fulfill her wish.

Given Maze's close relationship with Trixie, it's possible this could be a story arc. Though with Chloe effectively becoming the new Goddess, it doesn't make much sense that she would be on board with her only daughter being sent to Hell, even if it's in a position of power. Then again, anything is possible.

Lucifer Will Propose To Chloe With Lilith's Ring

Reddit user thebrownassassin predicts that Lucifer will not only propose to Chloe in the final season, but that he will use the immortality ring Maze's mother Lilith gave him decades before in order to do it. Add this to the list of the sweetest things Lucifer has ever done for Chloe.

This would not only be a major symbolic moment between the couple, who have shared some wonderful moments on Lucifer, it would also give Chloe the power to live forever, ruling alongside Lucifer for all of eternity.

Lucifer Will Give The Ring To Maze

Another theory, purported by Redditor Starship-Ranger, is that Lilith's ring will finally end up in the rightful owner's hands, which is Maze. Possessing the ring will be a symbolic gesture in that Lucifer is telling Maze that she is finally "free."

She already learned that, despite being a demon, it might very well be possible for her to grow a soul. And she likely already has. So, to receive immortality and be able to live in the real world, potentially with her love Eve (with whom she shared one of the best kisses on Lucifer), along with accepting the idea of love and loss, might be just what Maze needs.

Ella Will Embrace Her Darkness

Ella and Dan looking down into something on Lucifer.

It seemed that by the end of season 5, Ella was the only person in the tight-knit circle that did not know the truth about Lucifer and the others. Chances are she will finally be informed by season 6. Another aspect that might be explored is the darkness she has mentioned lies deep within her.

Redditor Wolberg predicts that Ella could have a momentary period of evil, following a similar arc of the character Dark Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Or, at the very least, she will finally be informed about all of the secrets she still doesn't understand. This will in turn present some challenges for her to come to terms with, including the idea that Azrael was real all along.

Lucifer And Amenadiel Give Up Their Status

Redditor God Johnson proposes a few interesting theories about season 6, including that both Lucifer and Amenadiel give up their status. The theory is that Lucifer gives up his status as God and the role is taken over by either Dan or Mr. Said Out B----, aka Lee Garner (the solving of whose death was one of best cases ever on Lucifer).

Meanwhile, they believe that Amenadiel will also give up his status as an angel so that he can remain on earth and raise Charlie with Linda, who he might reignite a romantic relationship with.

Lucifer Brings Dan Back

The same Reddit theory proposed by God Johnson guesses that Lucifer might try and prove his God status to Trixie by erasing or turning back time to bring Dan back to life. Lucifer has shown some pretty cool powers on the show, but that would be completely new territory.

At the very least, the theory is that Lucifer will be the one to finally help Dan get out of Hell. Whether he goes to Heaven or back to Earth from there, however, is up in the air.
