Little People, Big World viewers were surprised when Matt Roloff decided to sell his precious Roloff Farms, and now they are getting an in-depth look at the real estate listing. Matt always claimed that he wanted the farm to be passed down from generation to generation. Unfortunately, after a feud with his son, Zach, that dream has been extinguished.

Forbes shared the listing in its global properties section, which gives LPBW viewers better insight into what the property has to offer. The 16-acre portion of the farm in Helvetia, Oregon is situated just 15 miles outside of Portland, giving the fortunate buyer the best of both worlds With a $4 million price tag, it's clear Matt is hoping someone believes the property justifies the high cost. The farm comes with an outside pool, castle, mine shaft, and old western town (complete with a saloon, jail, and post office).

The History Of Roloff Farms

ROLOFF FARM ship from Little People, Big World

According to Forbes, the farm has only been owned by three different families in the last 100 years. The "fertile soil" is one of a kind for farming, and the buyer could even grow pinot noir grapes if they wished. When Matt and Amy Roloff first bought the property in 1990, it was a fixer-upper that only had a beat-up farmhouse, barn, and an overgrown peach orchard. The town of Helvetia was founded by Swiss immigrants back in the early 1900s. The community is still tight-knit, and there are "Swiss chalets throughout the lustrous hills."

The main selling point seems to be the 5,373 square foot home that Amy and Matt raised their children in and remodeled. The home boasts five bedrooms and is being marketed as a good buy for those who work remotely or teach homeschooling. After 30 years of working on the farm, Matt has come to the decision to hand over the reins to new owners. Little People, Big World viewers are still surprised by Matt's decision and feel he may regret it down the line.

Matt and Zach are still embroiled in a bit of a feud after Matt refused to sell the farm at a reasonable price to his son. The new season of Little People, Big World will show how the toxicity has affected the family. Neither Jeremy nor Zach were invited back to help with the most recent pumpkin season. Instead, Matt posted help-wanted signs in an attempt to rile his children up. Even though the property itself is spectacular, as it continues to sit on the market, Little People, Big World viewers can't help but wonder if Matt will eventually have to lower the price.
