Gurleen Virk got more than she bargained for on Love Without Borders when she moved in with her new partner's entire family, and in an exclusive clip from the next episode, they are both facing the repercussions. Gurleen is one of five Americans who was set up on the world's wildest blind date scenario. They had to leave their entire lives behind in the U.S. and travel to an unknown country for a person they have never met before. Without even knowing his name, Gurleen traveled to Dubai and was matched with Shreyas Mehta.
In an exclusive clip from Love Without Borders episode 3, courtesy of KineticTV, viewers can see that there is already trouble in paradise for the new couple. Gurleen said she needed some liquid courage in order to be around Shreyas' entire family right after meeting him for the first time. With the drinks flowing, the hard questions started getting asked. The family set up a pool party to introduce Gurleen to everyone, but it didn't give her and Shreyas a lot of time to learn more about each other. One of Shreyas' relatives asked about Gurleen's motivation for starting this crazy journey, a question many Love Without Borders fans also likely have. Gurleen said that she just thought, "Why not?" and jumped right in.
Love Without Borders' Gurleen Doesn't Believe In Love At First Sight
Love Without Borders fans are getting to know Gurleen more in this preview clip, as she also said she doesn't believe in love at first sight but thinks that love grows. After the shock that Shreyas lives with his entire family, Gurleen announced to everyone that they had already agreed to go find their own apartment while they start their love journey. Gurleen seemed to connect to some of Shreyas' family members, especially Vijay, who is his cousin's husband. He gave Gurleen some Dubai dating advice, and he may just be the breakout star of this Love Without Borders episode.
At 28 years old, Gurleen knows exactly what she wants on Love Without Borders, which shares similarities to other dating shows like 90 Day Fiancé, and was willing to travel across the world from San Diego to find it. She has met her match in 30-year-old Shreyas, as they are both adamant to have things their way. His family appears to approve of Gurleen so far, calling her easygoing and nice. Shreyas seems hesitant to move to a new place and has said that he doesn't plan on being fake or changing himself for anyone.
As Gurleen and Shreyas are both stubborn and independent, Love Without Borders fans are eager to see who budges on their living situation. While Gurleen and Shreyas are trying to get to know each other while being surrounded by his family members, Danna Richards and Brian Dilleen have already jumped right into bed together. After the Love Without Borders premiere, many viewers, who may also watch Love Is Blind, were rooting for Gurleen and Shreyas, but time will tell whether they are truly a good fit or not.
