Like many teen TV shows, Love, Victor loves to play into the dramatics of young love by creating love triangles. However, unlike most teen shows, this season saw Victor in an entirely new love triangle than he was in last season when he was caught between Mia and Benji.

This time around, Victor finds himself caught between Benji and Rahim. After a rough first season, Benji and Victor finally make their relationship official and they are absolutely adorable walking the halls hand in hand. However, things aren't all great which is where Rahim, Pilar's best friend, and a young gay student who seeks advice from Victor comes in. Both of these boys have special qualities that would make them the perfect boyfriend for Victor which has left fans drawing battle lines once again.

Benji: They Have A History

One of the main reasons Benji is perfect for Victor is because they have tons of history -- even if it's a tad complex. Victor immediately became infatuated with Victor when he moved to Creekwood and their relationship has only grown from there.

Benji and Victor started off as co-workers before becoming friends and then they eventually defined the relationship making them closer than other couples who just jump right into a relationship. They've already been through so much together that they can practically handle anything now.

Rahim: They Could Figure Things Out Together

While being experienced and in a relationship with someone else who is experienced can make things easier, it doesn't always make things better. The fact that Victor and Rahim both are rather inexperienced could work out for them in the long run.

In fact, Victor might be able to relate to Rahim even more because he was in Rahim's shoes not too long ago. These two would never pressure each other and could instead figure things out slowly and together.

Benji: Victor's Friends Already Love Him

Relationships are always better when friends are supportive of them, which is why Benji and Victor work out so well. Having lived in Creekwood his entire life, Benji already had a leg up with Victor's friends before he even came into the picture.

Once the two started dating, it was easy for Benji to integrate into Victor's world. He bonds with both Felix and Lake, the latter of which is slightly obsessed with him in the best way.

Rahim: Victor's Family Already Loves Him

While supportive friends are good, having family support when it comes to a new relationship is important. It's even more important for Victor because he's so close to his family. Rahim definitely has a leg up on gaining Victor's family support over Benji.

Part of the reason why Rahim seems to gain Isabel's approval quicker is that he's friends with Pilar first. And even though she's still dealing with her own internalized homophobia, she seems to accept Rahim quicker than she does with Benji.

Benji: They Both Have Baggage

While Love, Victor explores Victor and his own personal struggles, that doesn't mean he's the only one who's struggling. In fact, part of the reason Benji and Victor work is because they both have shared baggage.

Benji might have had an okay coming out experience but that doesn't mean he doesn't have his own problems. Fans learned this season that Benji attends AA meetings. While this is different than what Victor deals with, it's still emotional baggage that these two can work through together.

Rahim: They Can Confide In Each Other

In the first season, Victor sought advice from Simon, but this time around he gets to be the advice-giver when it comes to his relationship with Rahim. While Victor and Rahim's relationship starts out as just advice, they end up becoming friends who confide in each other.

Rahim is able to confide in Victor about his apprehension about coming out to his religious family, and Victor confides in Rahim about his own family struggles. And while Victor occasionally shares too much, Rahim keeps things just between them.

Benji: He's Romantic

While Benji does have his own flaws especially when it comes to his relationship with Victor, one of his greatest traits is the fact that he is insanely romantic. Fans got a sense of his romanticness in the first season but things only amplified this season.

After making Victor feel bad about basketball, Benji goes out of his way to go to the game and even dances in a routine the other basketball significant others created to cheer on the team.

Rahim: They Have Similar Family Backgrounds

One of the biggest tensions between Benji and Victor is Victor's family struggles. While that's unfortunate for them, it puts Rahim in a better spot because they share similar family backgrounds.

Like Victor, Rahim grew up in an extremely religious household that values the teaching of their respective religions. And family togetherness is definitely something valued in both their homes, making it all the more important that they get acceptance from their families.

Benji: They Have Fun Together

Apart from being cute together and supporting each other, Benji and Victor generally have a great time whenever they're together which is arguably the most important thing in a relationship.

Whether they're alone or with their other friends, Benji and Victor are bound to be having fun. These two even manage to make working together at the coffee shop look fun and exciting which is a testament to their bond with each other.

Rahim: They Have Fun Together

While Victor and Rahim might not be in a romantic relationship, that doesn't mean they don't have worlds of fun together. In fact, even as practical strangers, Victor and Rahim manage to make each other laugh and smile.

When they first meet, Victor and Rahim have fun bantering with each other about their gay experience and that fun only grows from there. At one point, the two ditch school and go on an epic ditch day getting lunch and doing karaoke at a gay bar.
