This couple was perhaps the most well-known from the previous season, due to the fact that Aryanna became pregnant in Jamaica during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the birth of her baby Odin, whose father is Sherlon, Aryanna has been raising him by herself in Illinois. Fans are excited to see this family's updates.

One thing that sets 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise apart from the rest of the spin-offs is the fact that every single country represented on the show is in the same general region: the Caribbean and surrounding areas. Therefore, all of the filming locations are tropical, beachside, and a pleasure for viewers to look at. It's the only 90 Day Fiancé show that is specific to one region, rather than being filmed in countries all over the world. Additionally, most (if not all) of the Americans on the show met their partners while they were on vacation. On other 90 Day Fiancé shows, the couples met in a variety of different ways. Also, other 90 Day Fiancé shows focus on its featured couples' K-1 visa processes, to bring the non-Americans to the United States. Although some of the couples in this series do end up applying for K-1 visas, it is not the sole purpose of this show, as with other series.
90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise season 2 also stands out because it features several different types of relationships. Most 90DF couples feature a man and a woman, with the exception of three couples in the whole franchise. However, 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise season 2 almost doubles the 90DF franchise's count of same-sex relationships. American man DeJuan VaLentine and Carlos Jimenez from Colombia are the second-ever gay male couple in the franchise, and viewers are already excited to see where their story goes. In addition, fans can't wait to see what happens with the franchise's first-ever official "throuple." Frankie sparked up a connection with a couple named Abby and Gaby, but is now only interested in Abby. This season is sure to be a wild ride.
