In one of the episodes, Steve revealed how close he was to his father, which created many funny Love On The Spectrum moments. While the show didn't explore much of his family life, his father was successful. As reported in SFGATE, Harold Spitz's father (Steve's grandfather) founded the magazine Guest Informer. After joining the army for the war efforts in World War 2, Harold joined the publication, became a publisher in 1962, and remained there for 58 years.

She also did voice-over work for over 18 years for "Women Of Her Word," a company that provides narration and audio description services for several productions.

But what happened to Steve after the series? While some were successful in relationships, Steve was one of the stars who have not found love since production wrapped up and is still looking, at least as reported in Gossip Next Door. Whether he will return for a hopeful second season is hard to say, but this favorite Love On The Spectrum singleton was determined at the end of the show to find love.

It was no surprise for viewers that since Steve was not diagnosed until he was older, he had a very different experience growing up. While the show sees him accepting his quirks as positive attributes, his interviews reveal how hard it was for him to fit in. During the series, despite having a big heart, he reveals how tough it was for him to socialize. While his father helped support and guide him through the world, Steve's journey in the show is as much about love as it is about overcoming his past challenges and accepting himself.
