One of the great things about Love Island is the surprising success rate of its winning couples. For example, season 8 winners, Davide and Ekin-Su, have taken their relationship up a notch since winning the competition in August 2022 by agreeing to live together in Essex.

Unlike Married At First Sight, which has a notoriously high divorce rate, when victorious Love Island couples are given enough time to explore things at their own pace, they often tend to remain together to build a life, plan a future together, and even have children to start a family. As such, it's time to find out where all eight winning couples in show history stand in 2022.

Jess & Max (Season 1)

Max kisses Jess on the cheek on Love Island

Despite winning season 1 of the popular reality dating show, Jess Hayes and Max Morley split six weeks after departing the island. Since appearing on Ex On The Beach in 2017, Max has resumed his professional cricket-playing career, sharing photos of a trophy his team won five weeks ago on Instagram. In November 2021, Max welcomed his first child, a son named Brooklyn, whom he proudly beams about online (per The Sun). However, Max has kept the identity of Brooklyn's mother under wraps.

Meanwhile, Jess Hayes currently serves as a fashion and make-up artist, as well as a brand ambassador for BPerfect Cosmetics and Saying Goodbye, a charity for those affected by the loss of a child (per Heat World). After welcoming her first son, Presley, in July 2019, Jess experienced a miscarriage in 2020. Following this, Jess and her fiancée, Dan, separated in May 2021 (per The Sun). Fortunately, Jess celebrated living with her new beau three weeks ago on her Instagram.

Cara & Nathan (Season 2)

Arguably the best couple in Love Island history, Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey remain happily married to this day after tying the knot in 2019 (per OK!). Now the proud parents of four-year-old Freddie and two-year-old Delilah, the whole family made a trip to Disneyland in 2022. Most recently, the family visited Paris this autumn (per Cara's Instagram).

Since the couple's last appearance on The Only Way Is Essex in 2019, Cara and Nathan have retreated from the reality TV spotlight to focus on parenthood, which they often chronicle on their YouTube page in 2022. Cara has also since launched Embroidery By FJ, a children's fashion line. Similarly, Nathan has partnered with Calloway Golf EU, which he often promotes on Instagram.

Amber & Kem (Season 3)

Although they seemed happy in paradise en route to winning season 3, Amber Davies and Kem Centinay broke up shortly after the show ended, due to scheduling snafus. An established actor prior to competing for love, Amber has since become a prominent stage actor who currently stars in Back To The Future: The Musical in London's West End. On October 17, 2022, Amber confirmed to ITV's Lorraine that she is dating her costar, Ben Joyce (per Yahoo News), and the two posed together on her Instagram three weeks ago.

As for Kem, he currently works as a barber and presenter (per his Instagram bio), and also owns a restaurant called Array Essex. Kem also founded KemCuts, a self-care fashion line partnered with Primark that he recently promoted tracksuit pants for on Instagram. By all accounts, Kem is single in 2022.

Dani reunited with her ex, Sammy Kimmence, and the two welcomed their first child, a boy named Santiago, in January 2021 (per Irish Independent). Following Sammy's arrest for scamming elders after Santiago's birth, Dani has since begun a romance with professional footballer Jarrod Bowen. Per Instagram, all three just celebrated Santiago's first birthday one week ago. In terms of TV, Dani's most recent appearance came via the game show Guessable in March 2022.

Meanwhile, Jack has parlayed his reality TV presence to become a public figure who recently partnered with McDonald's UK (per Instagram) and is represented by Off Limits Entertainment. On November 13, 2022, Jack is poised to fight professional boxer Anthony Taylor at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Jack is also slated to make his acting debut in a crime movie titled The Last Heist, in which he'll play a character named Tommy.

Amber & Greg (Season 5)

Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea were a fan-favorite couple to win season 5 of the guilty-pleasure dating show despite the latter entering the villa on Day 44. After a genuine effort to make things work, their romance fizzled out months after the show ended. Still amicable, Amber has become a reality TV mainstay and also became a first-time author after having her debut novel, Until I Met You, published in July 2022. With 2.7 million Instagram followers, Amber has solidified herself as a bona fide influencer and reality star. In 2022, Amber also appeared on CelebAbility and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Elsewhere, Greg returned to his athletic routes after leaving the villa. In 2021, he competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games on behalf of Ireland's Rugby Team (per Instagram). Greg also earned the first Fellowship from the University of Limerick Law Society in February 2021, indicating a major career change down the line.

Finn & Paige (Season 6)

Once Finn Tapp and Paige Turley paired up on Day 6 of season 6, they never looked back en route to their first-place finish. And just like Cara and Nathan, the two have remained happy together since leaving the island. According to Heat World, the couple has been engaged five times and currently live together in their posh Manchester abode.

Professionally speaking, Paige continues to work as a singer and musician, having performed with the House & Garage Orchestra at Brixton 02 Academy in 2022, which she shared with fans on Instagram and YouTube. Since leaving his football career behind in 2020, Finn joined Paige on Celebrity Coach Trip in January 2022. In a caption to the pic seen above, the two lovebirds are already planning their next summer vacation.

Liam & Millie (Season 7)

When the two moved into a million-dollar Essex mansion together three months later (per Heat World), everything seemed lovely. Alas, the two announced their split in July 2022, roughly a year after their victorious run.

Nowadays, Liam has left the limelight behind to focus on his real estate career, where he currently works for Ramsey & White Estate Agents (per Instagram). He's also a fitness guru who keeps fans entertained with intense workout training videos. Meanwhile, Millie has launched her own YouTube Fashion/Lifestyle/Beauty Vlog series that, combined with her nearly 2 million Instagram followers, has made her one of the most popular Love Island contestants on record.

Davide & Ekin-Su (Season 8)

Davide Sanclimente and Ekin-Su Culculoglu didn't really mesh until the halfway point of season 8 before finishing strong as first-place winners. Fortunately, the couple is still together and going strong two months later. The couple attended the National Television Awards together in October 2022, which Ekin-Su shared on Instagram. According to ITV, the couple is set to star in their own spinoff show, Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings, in which they'll travel to their respective Italian and Turkish homelands.

Ekin-Su is also poised to appear on Dancing on Ice in 2023 (per Digital Spy), and has since partnered with BPerfect Cosmetics and Oh Polly to model their products (per Instagram). Likewise, Davide has since become a brand ambassador for Boohoo Man Clothing and has amassed over 2 million combined followers on Instagram and TikTok in the past few months.
