The Brit chose to do a solo interview, instead of posting a joint social media statement like her ex wanted. In the hour-long chat, Love Island USA 's Zeta Morrison opened up about red flags, starting right after they won. She said Timmy never offered her a ride anywhere, even letting her walk home alone in downtown Los Angeles at 2 a.m. His communication was terrible, going days without speaking to her, which is a stark contrast to the other finalist couples.
Multiple plans for travel and spending time with families fell through, with Timmy giving bizarre and inconsistent excuses. Zeta accused him of making insulting comments, repeatedly calling her "entitled," seemingly mocking her spirituality, and telling her, "you're always used to people treating you a certain way but I'm not going to do that." He avoided deep conversations, didn't make her a priority, was inconsiderate, and made her second-guess herself.
Love Island USA Fans Compare Timmy & Zeta to Justine & Caleb
Zeta alluded to a very telling and difficult interaction with Timmy's sister, who insisted he loved darker-skinned women. She referenced how Timmy is very close with his mother, who is also dark-skinned. But Zeta, not feeling adored by him, had her doubts. Allegedly, she learned that Timmy's sister encouraged him to go for a dark-skinned woman on the show, because they were historically popular with viewers. This was one of many moments that made Zeta believe Timmy's feelings were just an act. Eventually, she couldn't take it anymore, and cut things off. The seemingly fairy-tale romance falling apart post-villa also occurred with Love Island season 2 couple Caleb and Justine. Several months after they won, Caleb brought another woman home for the holidays. When pictures went viral, both parties released breakup statements. Other social media activity indicated that Caleb was already dating this woman before the show. Soon after, colorist tweets of his resurfaced, and he embarked on a disastrous Twitter Q&A. Like Zeta, Justine amassed an enormous fan base on her own, and many questioned if Caleb used her for fame. Because of this history, there was speculation that Timmy was too good to be true, which Zeta previously defended him against.
