The Love Island USA season 2 cast have been out and about since the finale, but islander Sher Suarez had been eliminated from the show for some time already. On this year's Love Island USA, Sher entered the show through the Casa Amor twist. She was one of five new girls sent to tempt the male islanders away from their partners. Even though Sher was initially interested in Caleb Corprew, she ended up coupling up with Calvin Cobb instead.
However, after only a few days, Sher and Calvin decided to call it quits and just be friends in the Love Island USA villa. In turn, Jalen Noble also entered the villa during Casa Amor and coupled up with Mackenzie Dipman to stay in the villa. But when he and Mackenzie found themselves struggling with their chemistry, he expressed that he was interested in Sher. They decided to try things out and couple up, only to be dumped together shortly after.
Life after Love Island USA season 2 hasn't been all fun and games for Sher Suarez. Just after leaving the show, her beloved grandmother died from cancer. Sher's emotional post about her grandmother on Instagram said that she received the news "only hours" after being dumped from the show. Talking about her grandma, Sher continued: "Most importantly, thank you for teaching me selflessness and this love for life. Not once have I seen you cry and not once have I ever heard you complain about anything regardless of the pain and difficult cards you were dealt. You will forever be the strongest woman I know." Fellow season 2 islander Connor Trott and season 1 islander Alex Stewart reached out to Sher in the comments to give their condolences.
With that said, Sher has thankfully been able to have some fun on the outside and capitalize on her Love Island USA platform. She and Kierstan Saulter just returned from a trip to Los Angeles, where they appeared to be having a blast. For instance, they explored Venice, The Grove, and other popular spots in Los Angeles. After returning home, Sher posted an Instagram Story with friend Sofia Quinteros. They downing drinks doing the arm-chugging technique that Kierstan made popular on the show. Overall, Sher's connections with her fellow islanders show that she made quite the impact on the villa, despite only being there for a short time. When it comes to love, however, not much has been revealed by Sher thus far.
After watching the islanders every night for weeks, fans are eager to keep up with them outside the villa. We'll be keeping an eye on what Sher and everyone else is up to!
