On Love Island USA season 2 episode 23, Johnny Middlebrooks will confront Cely Vazquez about what her intentions are with Bennie Bivins. The trust issues between Cely & Johnny started when he met Mercades Schell at Casa Amor and got a little too flirtatious with her. He came back to the main villa alone and wanting to be with Cely, but the fans are still having a hard time forgiving him after he had experienced such a great season with Cely from day one. During the last episode, three new guys were introduced to the villa - including Bennie, who was sent on a date with Cely.
It's likely that the bulk of tonight's episode on Love Island USA will be about Johnny and Cely figuring out where they stand with each other, but that doesn't mean that there aren't other stories to be told. Kierstan Saulter seems pretty interested in some of the new boys that entered the villa, and Moira Tumas could benefit from doing some exploring as well. With that said, this puts Calvin Cobb and Connor Trott in the very tough spot of not having a solid partner while also watching them develop new relationships with other guys. Previously on Love Island USA, a game-changing public vote sent home four islanders at once. Aaron and Jalen had just been invited to the main villa after the Casa Amor twist, but the public didn't vote for them to say, and the islanders chose to save Carrington instead. In turn, Mackenzie was put in the bottom with newcomers Laurel and Sher... but at this point, everyone felt like Mackenzie had already gotten too many chances on the show. So the islanders kept Laurel, who's been developing a promising relationship with Carrington lately. Then, three new boys entered the villa: Bennie, Bennett, and Noah. It's safe to say that Johnny had a chip on his shoulder from the moment that these new guys arrived. After Cely went on a date with Bennie, Johnny started to feel even more insecure. Now, the couple will have to deal with that brand-new trust issue between them.
