Love Island USA season 2 winners Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew have now officially broken up. When the second season of Love Island premiered on CBS, the fans fell in love with Justine immediately. However, she wasn't lucky enough to find a solid partner during her initial days in the Las Vegas villa. The tides thankfully changed as Caleb was brought into the villa early on, as it became clear that Justine had chemistry with him. In any case, islanders Cely Vazquez and Johnny Middlebrooks were still the frontrunners for a good while.
It was during Casa Amor on Love Island USA that the game changed for Justine and Caleb. For one, Johnny was heavily judged by his short-lived fling with Mercades Schell, ultimately ruining his and Cely's chances at winning the $100,000 grand prize. Meanwhile, Justine and Caleb kept growing their relationship and becoming stronger contestants by the day. In the end, they won the season and kept dating post-show. Ever since the season wrapped, the fans have watched as the Love Island USA couples have been breaking up. Now, unfortunately, another one bites the dust.
Justine Ndiba has issued an official statement (seen below) about her breakup with Love Island USA partner Caleb Corprew. She wrote on Instagram, "I want you to know that Caleb and I are no longer together. I do ask for time as I continue to go through the process of heartbreak and healing as this has all been very hard for me." Nonetheless, Justine took the time to thank the fans who are supportive of all of her endeavors. Caleb addressed their breakup in an Instagram post (also seen below) and tried to steer the fans away from speculating about what happened: "Unfortunately, when you choose privacy... others often feel it is their place to tell your story for you. Speculation or not. Even with that in mind, I am still choosing privacy for the sake of my own personal peace."
On social media, the Love Island fans are heavily speculating about this high-profile breakup between Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew. Some are claiming to know that Caleb was in a relationship right before going on the show. Others are alleging that Caleb coupled up with Justine because he knew how beloved she was by the fans. There are even some people who are accusing Caleb of cheating. It should be noted, however, that none of these claims have been proven.
At this point, Mackenzie Dipman and Connor Trott are the only Love Island USA season 2 couple that is still together. Ironic, to say the least, since they didn't even get to the finale.
