Love Island USA season 2 finalists Justine Ndiba, Cely Vazquez, Johnny Middlebrooks, and Carrington Rodriguez had a brief reunion in California. It's been nearly two months since the second season of Love Island USA wrapped filming. While it is always a challenge for couples that meet on a dating competition to make things work after the show ends, it's 2020, so maintaining long-distance relationships or making moves to a new city have been understandably tougher than ever for this cast in particular. With that said, it's surprising how well most of them are doing at keeping in touch and making the effort to travel and meet up with their partners and co-stars.
At this point in time, it's pretty safe for the Love Island USA fans to conclude that Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew, Cely Vazquez and Johnny Middlebrooks, and Mackenzie Dipman and Connor Trott are still together. On the flip side, the fans haven't gotten too much information from the other season 2 couples. Laurel Goldman did travel to Utah to see Carrington Rodriguez, but not too many details were divulged during that trip for the fans to understand what the status of this couple really is. Moreover, basically nothing has been shared by Moira Tumas and Calvin Cobb as it relates to their relationship. The fans assume that they've broken up but are still waiting to hear any confirmation.
Nonetheless, a mini Love Island USA reunion between the season 2 finalists took place on Friday, November 20. On Instagram, Justine Ndiba shared a few boomerangs featuring herself, Johnny, Cely, and Carrington all under the same roof. Johnny also shared a brand-new picture with Carrington on the same day. Cely didn't share any group pictures, but she did say on her Instagram Stories that she had moved to a new house recently in order to be closer to Johnny. "I'm so annoying," she joked. In turn, Carrington shared an IG Story and geo-tagged Newport Beach, California. All things considered, it appears that these Love Island co-stars met up at Cely's new place in California.
For the fans that might be wondering why Justine was in California - considering that she lives in New Jersey -, it seems like the Love Island USA queen had a few West Coast engagements during this week. One of these engagements was an interview that Justine did with Bayleigh Dayton from Big Brother 22: All-Stars, which was recorded on the evening of Saturday, November 21. As for Carrington, not much is known about what exactly brought him to the West Coast this weekend.
It's always exciting for the fans to get updated on how the Love Island USA cast is doing. It's also great to know that they're all still friends and are making time to reconnect.
