Justine Ndiba is reflecting on her whirlwind year since appearing on Love Island USA, taking to Instagram upon realizing it had been one year since she entered the Las Vegas villa. Justine didn't always have the easiest time on that hotel rooftop. Her journey started with tears, as she was not picked by any of the OG boys. But her beauty, bold personality and instant friendship with Cely Vasquez quickly made her a fan-favorite.

Things seemed to turn around once she coupled up with Caleb Corprew, as viewers swooned over their romance. But just a few months after they won, Justine announced that they had split up. In a shocking twist of events, Caleb turned out to be far from the Prince Charming portrayed on screen. But the heartbreaking betrayal didn't get Justine down, as her Love Island experience gave her so much more.

This week, Justine shared an emotional Instagram Story to her 429,000 followers. She was unable to stop crying at first, and added the caption, "The Pisces in me really be showing sometimes haha." Reassuring her followers that they were happy tears, she revealed her phone showed her memories from a year prior that "really be getting people in [the] feels." Through jokes about "ugly crying," Justine looked gorgeous as ever. Reflecting on how fast the year flew by, she said, "I never thought I'd ever be here...I went on a show trying to find love, trying to find my person...came out with all you guys, a best friend, new opportunities...guys, chase those dreams, they're never too far to reach!" Repeatedly emphasizing how much she loved her "newfound family" of fans, she wrote, "I can't express how eternally grateful I am for all you guys! I wouldn't be here without all of you and I just wanna say THANK YOU!"

Forever taking the high road, Justine did not even mention or allude to Caleb. Instead, Justine celebrated her true love, best friend and podcast co-host Cely. She captioned TikTok videos of the pair with "Not me actually finding my soulmate doe." Since they met in that first episode, Cely also took the opportunity to wish her BFF a happy friend anniversary, writing that they were "the best LI relationship there ever was," a statement many viewers would co-sign.

Justine also gave a peek into her quarantine before entering the villa and how her sister broke the news about her appearance on the series to friends. She posted a Story of the first recoupling when Tre Forte chose to save her. She also shouted out and tagged Tre, perhaps showing there's no longer bad blood between them. Love Island USA wrapped season 3 last week. As of this writing, there is no official word on whether or not the series will return for season 4.
