Josh Goldstein has shared new heartfelt messages about his late sister, Lindsey Beth Goldstein, who tragically passed away while he was filming Love Island USA season 3. When it comes to finding love, the stars were certainly aligned for Josh to have the full Love Island experience upon being cast as a day-one boy in season 3. Against the odds, Josh went on to meet Shannon St Claire on that first day... and little did he know that they'd form a very strong relationship inside the villa.

As Love Island USA season 3 neared its final week, it was very clear that Josh and Shannon would get an incredible placement at the grand finale. There was a high chance that they would win the $100,000 grand prize, and even if that didn't happen, they would certainly be the runners-up of the season. Unfortunately, producers had to deliver to Josh the news that his sister suddenly passed away. This obviously prompted Josh to exit the show to be with his family. In turn, Shannon also left the villa to be by her boyfriend's side during this devastating time in his life.

Josh has understandably kept a very low profile since leaving Love Island USA. He's been mourning the loss of his sister, Lindsey Beth Goldstein. Today, however, Josh has taken to Instagram to post a few heartfelt messages about his late sister. Josh shared an old picture of him and Lindsey (seen below) and wrote a beautiful caption in her memory. "Yesterday I laid my big sister to rest," Josh started. "Lindsey was someone I looked up to and my best friend for the last 24 years of my life. The brightest light, the biggest smile, and the kindest soul I've ever met." Josh then commented on the impact that Lindsey had on other people: "Everything she did was for others and she went out doing just that. I am going to live the rest of my life honoring my big sis in any way that I can. Every opportunity, every situation, every chance I get I am going to make sure people know how amazing you are." Josh ended the post declaring that he'll always love his big sister.

In turn, Josh also shared another message about his sister via Instagram Story (screenshot below). This time, the message came from a printed-out card that included her full name, Lindsey Beth Goldstein, alongside her date of birth (August 23, 1993) and date of death (August 4, 2021). The card also had a Deborah J. Birdoes poem that reads, "Remember me always; I am not that far away. I'll be in your actions, And part of what you say. When you're lonely and sad, And you receive a big smile. Look again and realize, It's me staying for a while. I love on in your heart. I am not that far away. Let me still become, A big part of your day. Keep happy, keep hoping, Even though I've died. Together we will be again. This time on the other side."

This is an absolutely tragic time for Josh Goldstein and his family. Alas, he has shared truly beautiful words in his sister's memory on social media, which is probably a big part of his ongoing mourning process. The fans, as well as former islanders, have all sent well wishes for Josh, his family, and Shannon as they navigate this difficult time.
