The fans are accusing CBS of suddenly eliminating Noah Purvis from Love Island USA season 2 due to his past work as an actor in gay adult films. So far, the second season of the American Love Island series has introduced a total of 31 islanders. The Casa Amor twist alone brought in a total of ten newbies - five girls and five boys. A few of them have managed to stick around, but the vast majority of the new contestants were promptly sent home. Still, the OG islanders have been keeping each other around without necessarily finding great connections with one another. The only two solid couples thus far have been Justine Ndiba & Caleb Corprew and Cely Vazquez & Johnny Middlebrooks.

Recently on Love Island USA, the fans were mad about Johnny not being entirely forthcoming with Cely about what actually happened between him and Mercades Schell at Casa Amor. So the show decided to introduce three new boys to the villa: Noah Purvis, Bennie Bivins, and Bennett Sipes. For one, this was a great opportunity for the fans to see if Cely's head would be turned. Moreover, these boys had been watching the show and therefore came into the villa knowing full well that Johnny wasn't telling Cely the whole truth. As expected, it didn't take very long for newcomer Noah to sit Cely down and tell her about Johnny's Casa Amor days. But then, just like that, the fans realized that Noah had been suddenly and inexplicably removed from the villa.

At the moment, the Love Island USA season 2 fans are angry at CBS for allegedly eliminating Noah Purvis due to the fact that he has worked as a gay porn star. Under the stage name "Ethan," Noah was signed to gay adult film studio Corbin Fisher. Noah's first video for the company was released in March 2020. His last video for the studio appears to have been released as recently as September 2020. It is of note that, comparatively, male adult performers are paid much more to do gay-oriented films than to do straight-oriented films. This means that many male performers are financially incentivized to do gay-oriented films, regardless of their sexual orientation. All in all, these are actors performing in a movie, and just like any actor in any movie, the fans should be able to separate their characters and performances from the people that they are in real life.

CBS and the Love Island USA production team have released an official statement to ET in response to these accusations from the fans. The statement reads as follows, "It has been brought to our attention that cast member Noah Purvis provided false information on his application to Love Island, which violates his contestant agreement. He has been removed from the show." This is confirmation that Noah was indeed eliminated for not disclosing in his application package that he had worked as an actor in adult films.

The network's official statement confirmed that Noah was eliminated for being in adult films in the past. And with that, the fans will stay upset about this being a reason for eliminating an islander.
