Cinco clapped back at a Love Island USA fan who suggested that he should use Cashay Proudfoot's fame for likes and comments on his social media posts. Fans were introduced to Cinco (also known as Melvin Holland Jr.) and Cash on day one of Love Island USA season 3. There was an immediate connection between them, but both Cash and Cinco fought against it for some time. Due to their back-and-forth relationship on the show, Cashay and Cinco were dumped separately from the villa.

Thankfully, the two islanders met up by accident at an airport while heading back to their respective homes from filming the show in Hawaii. Cash decided on a whim to stick around in Virginia and stayed over at Cinco's home. She had the chance to meet his family there, and it became clear that Cinco and Cashay would try to make their relationship happen outside the villa. For a while now, Cash and Cinco have been reportedly dating and making things work.

This week, Cinco shut down a Love Island USA fan on Instagram who gave him advice he never asked for. As seen in the screenshot below, a fan took to Cinco's latest Instagram post to write: "Now if you had Cash in the photos, thousands would be commenting, not 29 [laugh emoji]." As expected, the comment rubbed Cinco the wrong way. He wrote back, "I don't care about the amount of likes and comments and I'm not here to use Cash for her notoriety like others are either." Cinco's word choice is certainly noteworthy here as he alluded to "others" who potentially did "use Cash for her notoriety" to gain likes on social media.

It is unclear if Cinco was throwing shade at a Love Island USA co-star and who he might've been talking about. More than anything, however, Cinco was just standing his ground as someone who's in a genuine relationship with Cashay and doesn't care about gaining clout from her. It has indeed been very clear to the fans that Cinco doesn't show the behind-the-scenes of his relationship with Cash very often on social media. In fact, he seems protective of what they've got.

It was rude for this commenter to suggest that Cinco needed to rely on Cashay to get likes on social media given that he is also one of the fan-favorites from Love Island USA season 3. This was also an unnecessary thing to say to someone who is dating Cash right now and having feelings for her that transcend social media presence. Alas, most fans just want these Love Island USA stars to stay strong and be happy.
