Love Island USA season 2 is getting its very own Casa Amor, which will split the current couples into two villas and bait them with ten new islanders. For longtime fans of the series, Casa Amor is a classic twist that nearly always introduces new drama. The Casa Amor format was introduced on season 3 of the British Love Island series. Given its enormous success, this twist returned for seasons 4 and 5 of the original show. When Love Island USA was announced, the fans were eager to see an American version of Casa Amor... but the show did not have one during its first year.
Thus far, Love Island USA season 2 has been much more dramatic and compelling than its predecessor. This year's islanders have very big personalities and have been giving the show a fair share of relationship drama from the very start. At this point, couples like Johnny Middlebrooks and Cely Vazquez are extremely solid. Moreover, Justine Ndiba seems to have finally found a real match in Caleb Corprew. When it comes to Calvin Cobb and Moira Tumas, there aren't any clear signs that their relationship is in trouble so far. However, Casa Amor could potentially change everything for the islanders.
How Casa Amor Works On Love Island USA Season 2
Love Island USA 2020 will introduce the first-ever Casa Amor of this American edition. The twist works like this: the boys and the girls who are currently in the Las Vegas villa will be split into two groups based on their gender. One of those groups (either all the boys or all the girls) will be taken to a second villa, which is nicknamed Casa Amor. There, they will meet five new islanders of the opposite sex. Meanwhile, the contestants who stay in the current villa will also greet five new islanders of the opposite sex. Essentially, this means that every single current couple on the show will find themselves away from their partners and in front of new suitors who are looking for love. This Casa Amor will last six days. At the end of that period, all islanders will have to decide if they want to stay with their original partners or recouple with a new person that they've met through the Casa Amor twist. The Girls Of Casa Amor On Love Island USA Season 2
Per People, a total of ten new islanders will be introduced to Love Island USA through the Casa Amor twist. From left to right in the image seen above, the five new girls joining the show are Mercades Schell (26), GiNiele Reitzell (24), Sher Suarez (22), Laurel Goldman (22), and Faith Tyrell (26). The Boys Of Casa Amor On Love Island USA Season 2
In turn, the Casa Amor twist is also introducing five new boys to Love Island USA season 2. Only time will tell how much drama these new boys and girls will bring to the existing couples on Love Island USA. Nonetheless, the fans are certainly excited to see some new faces on the show.
